Hey ladies,
My oh my but have you been busy in here!!
A quick summary,
@ Angel - I'm sorry to hear you lost one baby but I'm so glad that you still have 2 healthy babies growing inside of you, what an amazing blessing!
OPK Ladies - My experience with them... I only ever once received a positive OPK and I don't have any problems ovulating and my cycles are perfect so my advice is throw away the OPK's! They caused me such stress every month that it took all the fun of trying away. My best indicator was watching for cervical mucus and I was temping using the fertility friend app. Every month without a doubt it would show my ovulation patterns. I just feel that OPK's are so expensive and its so easy to miss that surge and then you think you didnt ovulate, etc. The best would be temping and then occasionally do a CD21 blood test to check that your levels are correlating.
@Jay - Argh trust AF to mess you around now hey...
@Carien - Good luck with the TWW! I have a week left... I also tried the pineapple thing when I did my first IVF cycle!
@Babymaybe - Thank you for those words, just that extra push I needed.
@Nicola - I remember I used to strip my digitals to look at the line. They work the same as a normal OPK except it has a little chip that activates the smiley when the lines are equal.
@Salemein - My AF is due the 26th so it seems like we are waiting it out together! I won't be testing though, will just wait it out. Keep us updated on your tests, remembering it is still super early!
AFM, on about CD20 today, have had seriously sore nips since about Saturday which I have never experienced before. Not reading into it though, honestly dont have the energy to get my hopes up! This is our last month TTC and we have decided I will go onto Visanne when AF arrives (which I may have mentioned a few times already sorry...) If its a BFP this month then YAY, if not then I will go onto Visanne and we stop trying until about June next year when we will do another FET... I dont even want to think about that though, I turn 25 next month and we started TTC when I was 22 hoping to already be moving onto no 2 by now... By having to stop TTC for a few months to get the endo under control it now means I will be lucky if I manage to have a baby when I'm 26.... I know it seems super young to some of you but for me I was hoping to be well into having kids by then and growing with them and being young and full of life... ARGH! It just sucks... Praying we get a BFP next week and that it can be our miracle rainbow baby otherwise that's me done for a couple of months.. Atleast I have a gruelling workout plan to look forward to if we don't get our BFP and I will be focusing on my mental and physical health for the next few months.
