Good morning Ladies
Sorry I've been so quiet, after a year long illness, my Nana died on Saturday morning and we have all been struggling the last 2 weeks while she declined rapidly and died. The funeral is next weekend so we are still in limbo dealing with everything. We live in a subdivision of my folks' property, and she lived with them, so we saw her every day. Now with her gone we are all taking a lot of strain. Also, Friday was the first anniversary of my MC, which was highly emotional for us all - but we made it a good day and had a little birthday party for "our baby in heaven" as my children know our Pearl
Welcome to the new ladies I haven't spoken to yet

This group of ladies is amazing! So supportive and helpful and welcoming <3
A little FYI, I worked in natural health for 4 years, and did a lot of studying. Vitex is also knows as Agnus Castus or Chastetree Berry. It is a natural hormone balancer used for younger ladies (meaning it isn't really recommended for menopause symptoms - that's black cohosh or red clover) It assists with estrogen production, which helps with the process. It will also help regulate your period and assist with PMS symptoms. The two herbs I mentioned above for menopause symptoms are good for progesterone regulation, which is why they help with menopause
I am at CD 7 - AF was a bit longer this month than usual, and a bit more painful, but I haven't really been tracking faithfully with my Nana being so ill. We have had to push our TTC date back a month or so again, as we still haven't found a decent and affordable medical aid which allows home births. Both of mine were home births and I don't consider myself high-risk even though we had our MC last year. CM is watery at the mo, will track. Last cycle it was EW after my temp rose, so I will see how that works out this cycle and chart it.
Temping isn't too hard, but you need a thermometer with 2 decimal points - the only one I found was at Baby Boom and it's a Pigeon brand one. Very good quality too, and soft and bendy which helps if you use it for the kids. I think it was about R80-ish. You need to track it at the same time each day. Be at rest and don't eat or drink beforehand as this will affect your temp. I did it in the morning before I got out of bed, but not as soon as I woke up as then I was still very hot from sleeping. Your BBT only rises very slightly. I noticed my BBT is generally around 35,45-35,75 and when I O it rises to about 36.15-36.35 - Apparently, there is a reason changes in the weather affect me so much, I have a colder BBT than normal
Have a blessed day ladies <3
