the problem is, he does really need it! when he borrows money from me, it's to pay back friends, or buy groceries, may for electricity etc...

My DH is french and from Brittany so we are going to see his family and have our FOURTH wedding celebration!! haha. My dress is so tight! gotta try not to eat anything too unhealthy this week!

I wouldn't know what to do about your brother, perhaps only borrowing him money when he REALLY needs it? And this does not include weed and booze..

It really is very quiet here today...
and i need advice on a totall arb topic.

My brother is 27 and just seems to be in financial sh*t ALL the time. This month alone he has borrowed R1800 from me and I dont have a permanent job so it's kind of DH's money. He paid me back R1500 last week. He always does pay back but it's annoying me that he is so broke ALL the time!!
For the last 2-3 months he just never has money. He cant afford to even eat properly. he is stick thin. BUT he can afford weed. We went out on Sunday for the final world cup game. it was R200 entrance for snacks and endless cocktails. My brother drank himself STUPID just to make sure he got his money's worth.
I cannot not lend him the money because he seriously has no money. and he is always trying to borrow money from friends too.
He works for my dad and earns a decent salary but the problem is that he lives in a fairytale world. He owns 2 flats yet cant afford to pay the bonds/levies/etc. So now he is trying to sell the one in CT to get out of this trouble, but the market is not great so it's taking time.
What can I do?? I know by constantly coming to his rescue, he is not learning anything...
We are off to France next week and I said I would pay him to come feed my cats daily since I usually pay a pet sitter anyway. He says he'll just do it for free. but honestly, he needs the money, so why not just take the damn offer??

hi girlies. im so excited and so angry. excited that i got 2 more sleeps. angry cos my bro in law told us 2 move here and break our house and rebuild it here. long story made short we did it and last nite my hubbys bro told us we must break the house down again cos he has put the property on sale. we have nowhere 2 put the house and we dont have the money 2 take it back 2 ct. we dont know what we gona do. there is much more 2 this story but the reason why he selling da property is cos we refuse 2 live in the house cos he wants us 2 move there now with no electricity or water.. what a dumb CAT.

If he did a scan at your normal check-up he would have been able to see if there are more than normal amount of cysts on your ovaries and would have then sent you for some more bloodtests to confirm. And some gynaes send you for tests to check all your homrmone levels when you tell them you starting to TTC. But like EmsMom said, most doctors go by the under 30 = 1 year trying and over 30 = 6 month trying before they do anything. I've learned out of experience to do a lot of research and I'm at a stage where I'm sort of telling my doc what to do and what I want hehehe!!
