Haven't been on for ages but every now and again have come on to check for BFP's for May and June-Congrats Chris! Your counts seem very high, eagerly waiting to hear if it's twins.

Seems to be many ladies testing this week!

What can you drink for flu if you're TTC?

Been sitting with flu symptoms for days now and really, Panado and Puma does not do the trick!

We've decided to test on Sat. Haven't had AF cramps yet like last month, feeling very tired and little dizzy but that I think is the flu getting me down. If it's a BFN then I can get some good flu meds.

Oh Tracy honey, sometimes tough love is needed. How old is your brother? I know everyone goes through bad patches but 8 months of supporting him with nothing in return, straining your marriage, upsetting your boy, not having privacy to TTC etc - is not fair towards you, your DH or boy and future baby. 8 months is long enough to "get back on your feet", especially if you had some place to stay rent-free, with food etc. It is his own fault if he doesn't want to settle for a steady income. Plus, he also has a kid, doesn't he feel responsible? Is his bipolar under control with meds?

Give him notice - he must move end of the month or so. That gives him time to look for a room or a flat mate. He may be angry, but I'm sure he will thank you some day for forcing him to grow a spine (sorry, also venting - like I said, have experience with people living with you).

Girls, i wanted to upload a new picture and i deleted the old one and browsed for a new one and clicked 'upload' and it finished uploading or so i thought it did... Went back to the forum and there is no picture.... I cant remember how i did it the last time...

Tracy, kids definately pick up bad vibes quite quickly. So he probably knows everything isn't OK with your brother and that's why he's crying and wants to be close to you the whole time. He knows his mommy and daddy will protect him. Shame, I hope he feels better soon.

I have an appointment with my doctor on the 23rd. It was the earliest they could fit me in, but they'll phone me if they get a cancellation. We will be discussing and booking a laporoscopy then.

Lucy, sorry about spotting. Looks like we'll go through another cycle together. How long do you usually spot before full AF starts? I've decided to not even bother with the last 2 days of progesterone pills so my AF will probably start on Saturday I think. Already had a temp dip this morning.

No, brother works for a company that pays comission only, so because he hit the dwang BADLY with his finances Nov last year, we offered for him to move in with us here in JHB, and get him out of DBN so he can start afresh (he also has a 4, nearly 5, year old son in DBN by the way...).
He swore blind he had seen the light (about SIX months agao) and that he knows this isn't working, so he will go all out to find another job. WELLLLLL.....he is still with the same company, and refuses to give the job up for a job with a basic instead.
He has, so far, paid in total R1200 towards living expenses for the passed 8 months - that equates to R150 a month......so financially, we are really taking strain too now.
And if I chuck him out, he has no where to go at all. So it's either bite the bullet, ruin my marriage and feel sorry for him (which is exactly what I have been doing so far), or chuck him out & tear the family apart - as he will NEVER speak to me again if I do that.....
THAT is why it is such a tricky situation.....

Taryn.. i have read on the internet ppl using OPKS as HPTS and getting positves on OPK but they say it shouldnt be trusted.. so i say girl hang in there till sat and all will still be fine..
Lucy... when u spotting is it spotting before AF arrives or a different type..?? why i ask is cause i have also been spotting since sun but its a tiny thread of red in the discharge when i wipe ( sorry for tmi) and only about once a day.. and i know tht around last week thu/fri i had dark brown spotting ( which i put it down to implantation) so really not having much hope but i know i have a thrush and a bladder infection so hoping spotting is coming from there.. This morning had the HPT ready but then if -tive i rather have the confirmation tomm from bloods...

Tracy-- thts a not so nice situation, having a 5year old in the same room can be very taxing on your marriage.. cant ur bro move somewhere else?? i also think take time out and go to child friendly place where he can play perhaps and u n DH can have some me time.. Easier said then done.. but hang in there..
AFM.. SERIOUSLY think im also out this month,having AF type cramps and no symptoms AT ALL. Last week was almost positve now deff think my body is playing games with me after the MC.. Well only one more day to go or AF might just show up today

Thanks for clearing up who's OPK's I saw pic's of! I really couldn't rememeber...but they DEF said 9DPO & 10DPO - hence the confusion!
I googled it out of interest just now - a good few ladies have actually had VERY strong +OPK's when using them as HPT's instead - so go figure?!?! I still wouldn't use them to try though....no point in setting yourself up for possibly useless dissapointment....

And with my son being so sick, I don't dare take him out in the cold tonight for dinner - so stay at home wine & pizza in the privacy of our own bedroom it will be, just the 3 of us - anything to stay out of my brothers company right now...desperate times call for desperate measures.....grrrrrrrrrrr again......
