TTC 2012 Group Year of the ball, Year of the bump

Hexy, this isnt the final coat but you get a feel for it. I did it in the silk finish - Dulux Burnt Paprika or something.

Going to do my entrance hall in sueded dark / chocolate brown and a wall on the landing upstairs in a teal blue.

Then we need to do pictures / vinyls / decorations. We have a lot we want to do in the house still. Replace kitchen cupboard doors, wall tiles, flooring throughout the house, new bathrooms etc 1 step at a time hey!

oh Hexy, I am so so sorry ... I really am thinking of you this week. I hope you have a lot of support to see you through this anniversary. I know you will never forget them and all I can pray is that the pain eases with time xxx

SIL Update: She saw the specialist again on Saturday and the news wasnt good. They found active cancer cells in her breast and the lymph node they removed from her on Tuesday and from the MRI. She went to the oncologist on Monday, she has to have 6 months of really heavy chemo and then the mastectomy. Apparently the 1st 4 months will be the worst and she will lose her hair... She went to a mamogram specialist as well and he checked the left breast (Which is clear - Thank Heavens) and also inserted the marker in her right breast so they can monitor the progress of the chemo. She also now has to go for a full catscan to see if the cancer has spread anywhere else..

It was her birthday yesterday so we will probably do dinner on Friday night.

AFM, DH and I have started taking Stamino Gro. It really works well and we took it with Evan. I start my new role on the 1st - I cannot wait. I am already doing some stuff and I think I really will enjoy it. It's a little different but in a good way. So far I like my new boss. Evan slept through last night for the 1st time in months - woop woop We also painted a wall in our kitchen orange / red and it looks stunning. I did the final coat yesterday. It's the 1st non white wall in our house since we painted everything white The previous owner had painted everything pastel blue, yellow and lilac and the walls were filthy from her dogs.

AFM - I'm a bit down again today, like you said klk "wish it was all fine" and easy, but it just seems like it just never is.

Cols, how is your SIL?

AFM, AF due tomorrow. Have been spotting for about 6 days now, have been on progestrone so clearly that is not the problem, must be the lesion. Will start the pill as soon as AF starts then on CD21 I need to go and have a scan to make sure that the my ovaries are back to normal. If not, then surgery it will be. Just wish it was all fine

Nice to see some chatting here again !! Welcome to all the newbies and the old chatters...I've been chatting on the Afrikaans thread much more lately, but will make more effort here now

So the day after tomorrow (the 15th) will be a year ago that we lost our twins....at this stage it is all in the back of my mind....thinking about stuff like on the Monday I started getting the discharge...on the Tuesday we drove to Bloemfontein...on the Wednesday when I went for the 4D my world fell apart....trying not to make a big deal about it...but yeah...I know it is coming...

Anyhow....still don't think I'm ovulating...and if I want to see the gynie it will cost me about R700 in cash since the MA is now depleted....considering waiting till January to go for a new check-up.... I really want to seriously start TTC....
