Hi Moomians

Just popping in to quickly say hey and how are all of you doing? I havn't had the time to play catch up. I just want to say that I have this personal trainer at my gym who is also a nutritional therapist and she writes regular newsletters. today's newsletter is of particular interest to us TTC'ers and I really want to share it with you but I may not copy and paste it here. Hi girls, how's everyone doing this week?

Update on SIL : She managed to get in with a breast cancer specialist on Monday. The Dr apparently set up all the breast clinics in SA. They have cancelled the mastectomy for this week as the Dr wants to do further testing on her lymph nodes and do an MRI on the tumor.

She goes in next tuesday and will have drains put into her lymph nodes. Then on the Saturday she will meet with the specialist again to understand the state of the cancer and if it has spread. She will then discuss the course of treatment moving forward.

She's turning 36 on 13 September.

It is very scary and I really hope that she gets the absolutely best treatment.

Afm, we've had a very sad week. Sil has been diagnosed with breast cancer. They are removing her entire right breast as well as half her thyroid. Apparently the thyroid is now growing at a rapid rate... She thought the lump in her breast was a blocked milk gland. I felt the lump, t's really big but it does feel like the lumps you get when your breasts are engorged with bm... She's just stopped bf. Llo is 2months old... All this after i just got a clear biopsy. I only realise now how lucky i am. I was so calm about it. Dh was the one stressing more than me...
