Hi ladies (finally)...
Sorry, been so sore and working from home on the laptop, so coming online was the last thing on my mind - sorrryyyyyy....been hectic!
Strikkie : Ah man, I'm sorry you have to go for the procedures. It's always nerve wrecking and a constant worry before you go in (speaking from serious experience here cleary).
To answer you, I had a laporoscopy, hysteroscopy, ureterectomy (well, they thought I would need that, but they managed to skip that part), and 2 other procedures I can't remember the names of.
I had ALOT of work done in there, so my healing is taking much longer than your average lap. If it's just a lap, hysteroscopy & removing of fibroids, then you will be up & going in 3/4 days again on average. But as they say, depending on what they do in there, each recovery is different.
Andie :

I say not a wordddddd....
Cols : That is the worst part of TTC with fertility aids - the timed BD sessions. It can take SUCH a toll on you both. It is hard, and honestly, there is no answer on how to make it easier. Just try get "kinky" with some of the sessions....lingerie, some heels maybe
MW2B : Gooooood luck for this cycle!! Hoping your clomid rainbow is being designed as we speak!
Hi to the other ladies!!
AFM : Well, WOW, this has been the worst op by far. They did ALOT in there this time. They found my right ovary had been pulled backwards and upwards and had gotten connected byt he endo to my kidney & ureter coming out my kidney. So every month with AF, everything swells inside from the endo, and this caused the ureter tube to close completely, therefore shutting off the drainign of my kidney. SOOOO, hence all the kidney infections and that abcyss in Feb!! And the left ovary was pulled under and inwards & had grown onto my uterus too. So, in the gynaes words, my ovaries were useless to me. even though I ovulate beautifully, the tubes were too twisted for the egg to get anywhere, and no sperm to the egg. So that's fixed now. They flushed he tubes, did a D&C scrape, removed as much endo as they could (still too much on the bowels to remove properly, but they did their best). and gave me a good overhaul.
So now I wait for the 6 week check up for p of a.
Still extremely swollen - I look 4 months preggies (internal bleeding takes 2 weeks to disepate they reckon), and sitting here behind my desk is literally painful.
Back at work today for the 1st day since op, and YOH, SO sore and uncomfortable still.
Sorry for the long reply, but it wasn't a short story
