Thanks guys, I'm acutally laughing at myself at the moment. Because on the one hand I'm so irritated with the doctor, but on the other hand I'm nogal bietjie kinda exited!!

Tracy, I've read about the thin lining thing with Clomid and logically it doesn't really make sense to me because if it is a fertility drug to help with getting pregnant why does it thin out your lining which goes against everything you're trying to achieve!! But ja, at least I got the script out of him. He wants me to come see him when AF is finished. I'm obviously not going.

Ilse, yes, I'm going to take everything he prescribed as he prescribed it. Even the Metformin, even though he hasn't prescribed that since the op when they removed the remaining cysts.

So, my POA for this cycle:
- Fertomid CD1 - CD5
- Estrogen CD6 - CD12
- SMEP sex from CD8 - CD28
- Pre-Seed to go with the SMEP sex
- OPK's from CD8 - CD15
- Prog blood test 7DPO
- BFP 14DPO

I think that about covers it. Did I leave anything out?

Oh Andy!! Seems like you can't get away from that gynae quick enough!!! Not very comforting if your gynae tells you that!!! Not that it is aceptable, but I really hope he was just a bit confused to whom he was talking and that he didn't make a mistake in July when you had your op etc!!!!

So are you gonna take all that that he prescribed now for this cycle?

SH - sorry about AF, again! Well, nice break-away places are Hartenbos, Knysna, Oudsthoorn, Sutherland, Ceres, Melkbos, Hermanus, Witsand - depends where you want to go.

And also, you have a gynae app fro April to be able to do a scan to check the Fertomid isn't causing cysts straight away.

And there are ALOT of woman who still have progesterone supp's even while on Fertomid!! But, he may be right, it may stop the spotting etc. Fertomid tends to cause thin lining (which is also not great when TTC). This may also put a halt to the spotting.

Ah man.......fxfxfxfxfxfxfxfxfxfx this works for you!!!!! And again GRRRRRRRRRR at the gynae!!!!!!!!!!

O ja!! And he says that if I start ovulating on the Fertomid, my progesterone (and the spotting) will sort itself out!!!

My gynae just phoned me back. Prescribed Fertomid 50mg for 3 months from CD1 - CD5 and then some estrogen supplement (to help my CM not dry up) for CD6 - CD12. Oh and another 6 months worth Metformin. But wait... That's not the joke.......

He says to me..... "if we can get you to ovulate on the fertomid..." WTF??? After the op last year he told me I do ovulate on my own!! So what... Have I now just wasted another 9 months of my life??

Either he doesn't know WHAT he's talking about or WHICH PATIENT he's actually talking to!!!

I'm actually so angry right now.

But on the other hand I'm glad I got the script out of him.
