Andy, i agree with the whole douching... Well i hope you can get answers and a POA when seeing the new gynae...

And im almost sure what Tracy mentioned about the way they test for hostile CM is correct, just like a pap smear, heavens i hate those things!!!!

Andy, I really think the POA in the mean time is starting with PreSeed over your fertile time, and then getting that progesterone test done. That's a great starting point alone......

Thanks girls! I think I'll just try the Pre-Seed for now... The whole douching thing is a bit daunting

It's really frustrating knowing something is wrong somewhere, I not know exactly what it is. Sure, maybe it's not my tubes or endo or whatever else they checked during the lap last year, but there MUST be something wrong right?

Thats right, now I remember Andy. My sister had hostile CM (she was with Vitalab in Jhb) and what they did was they did a scan after they had sex and all the sperm were dead so they took a swab of the mucus and it showed that her CM was very acidic therefore killing the little fellows. To treat it they got her to douche with bicarb and water then tested again and all was good! It was over 4 years ago so she cant remember exact details.

What we all have to go through!!! Ai ja ja!

and yes, I would honestly suggest in PreSeed to use in the mean time. You have to nip all these possibilities in the bud - even if you don't have hostile CM, it still boosts the sperm etc. I have used alot this month for a change....that's all that saved my girly bits I swear!!

As far as I know, they do a scrape thing like a pap smear to check your ph balance in your cm.....I stand corrected though.....
