I am no expert on OPK's but what I do know is that the line needs to be the same or darker than the control line for it to be positive.

But that discharge also sounds like a sign?

And remember that OPK's dont always work so if I were you, I'd just BD BD BD!

How is everyone today?

Been a very quiet day for me. Did my first OPK ever and got a faint line so not too sure what that means?? OPK experts?? Im not too sure if im going to O soon as Im only on CD10 and from charting it always showed my O as CD16/17 so not too sure. (Im not charting this month.) Also when I went to the loo just now and wiped there was a brownish/reddish discharge which also can be a sign of O so who knows what is happening. Come on ladies, I need your advice!

Simone C- I was also worried about that cos the person I donated to is quite a close relative...& the thought of my eggies and her hubby's sperm!...cos then it's essentially mine and her hubby's child! and what if the baby was just automatically drawn to me cos they say a child "just knows" who their mother is??? Trust me, I also struggled with all those thoughts but helping her was a much greater purpose for me so I just thought "we'll cross that bridge when we get to it"

Sadly, it didn't work so doubt they'll try again cos that was their 3rd IVF at a huge cost!

As for TTC? I think towards the end of next year so baby can be born in 2013...but anything can happen in the meantime cos I'm not on any contraceptives at the moment- still looking. cos I'm too scared of them affecting my ability to conceive. so looking for ones with least reported effects on reproductive system.
