Hayley, see its very very quiet in here. WOW. Well done for you dh agreeing to the smep!!!!!! BFP - her comes Hayley!!!

Hi Elamsmom, its fine you can chat with  SMEP is Sperm Meet Egg Plan,
The Plan

Short Version:

"Try" every other night starting Day 8
Buy 10 ovulation predictor kit sticks
Begin ovulation testing on Day 10
When test is positive, "try" that night, plus two additional nights in a row
Skip one night, then do one last "try"
Take a home pregnancy test 15 days after your ovulation test was positive, if your period has not begun
If your ovulation test never goes positive, continue "trying" every other night until Day 35, then do a pregnancy test if your period has not begun.
Statistics coming in from women who write me show that about 40% of post-miscarriage women will get pregnant on the first try if they are faithful to the plan, about double the number of the normal population who are not on the plan. This assumes, of course, that you waited for a normal cycle to begin after your loss, and did not begin trying before having a period after a miscarriage. Many women do not ovulate in that first cycle.

Hi Ladies

I read your thread A LOT! Can't explain it! I await the BFP's as eagerly as anyone!

Feel like a stalker hiding in the shadows cos have no justifiable reason for being so interested in the TTC journey but I just am  I have a 10 month old LG and haven't started TTCing for no.2 yet.

Can someone pls explain what SMEP is? I know it stands for Sperm meets egg plan (I think) but what does that mean- is it normal fertilization by BDing or IUI?

Hope I don't offend anyone

Tanz, about 2 hrs from middelburg, dont know much of mpumalanga but i know ermelo ;) dont get there much though. These roads are such a mess, potholes and the road to ermelo has been closed down for repairs so you have to take a "ompad" through i think Davel or something. GRRRRRRRRR

morning!

Ika, glad that you are doing well!

Andy, do you get my e-mails? Havent heard from you in ages! Hope you are well. You are right about this being a crazy ride. I dont think that women who have no problem falling pregnant, understand just how emotionally draining this is!

How is everyone else? Hayley, tracy, strik?

Strik, do you live near middelburg? I know that part of mpumalanga, my dad lived in ermelo for 11 years.

Hi ladies, So sorry. I have been a bit busy this week. My mom and dad and suster is away in Durban. So I have 6 dogs that does not get along between 3 houses that need playing, feeding ect. Then it is 6 domestics that I need to keep busy. 3 gardeners. 2 brothers that need feeding. one is sick this week. And then I have my 3 year old after 13.00 each day.3 chub alarams that keep tripping!!! and I need to work!

Crazy week!!!

Ok so Dh have up to this point not yet booked a ticket. We ar eh hoping that they will just miss this deadline and then they will have to go on the 6 Mrach!!! ((((THANKS FOR ALL THE PRAYERS! THINK THEY WORKED!!!!)) So it is 2 more days then they can not send him, as they can not mail him on the saterday and get everybody orginised in time before Monday!!!!

On my meds! The strofem gave me a bit of insomnia and headaches. Gonal F have not yt had any side effects on me. They are 1000000000000 times better than clomid when it comes to side effects!I feel a lot better!
My U/S is on saterday (cd12)! I can not wait to see how many eggies I have and the size!I am today on CD 10, and have tingeling pains on both ovaries. Not a lot, but some action on each going on! I am hoping that by saterday they will be ripe and ready and IUI can happen on Sunday! As this is outside working hours and will be great! No traffic to rush DH supplies in time, not late for work. Just plain doing our thing and go home and relax!!!
I have been praying a lot this cycle and my head feels in a better place!Feel relax and happy!

I have a huge amount of post to run through! You girls have been chatting up a storm!

By the way! When you do the IUI what is the best for dh sperm. Do we BD the day before to get a fresh batch? Cause I was thinking to bd from today through to wednessday and have IUI somewhere in between? With all this stress I have only BDed once in the last two weeks so I know we need to get some action going? But don't want to water down the supply? DH have been on stamigro now for two months. LAst time when we did his analysis they said he had great supply and that was without the Staminogro. Now he had some vitamins ect, so I am hoping that he will have AMZING supper fertilisier swimming fighting hostile mucus army avant garde action hero's!
