Andy - nope, the consultation fees is also for your account- ouch! That's how it was with me.

Andy somtimes the FS will put through his fees as gynae consultation fees - then medical aid will pay for first consult, but it depends on FS. I had my first consult through medical aid at Dr H and then from there on I paid cash on everything. R20k later and still no BFP......

Lalie, I think except for the rubella resistance, I was tested for all of that earlier this year. I wonder if I will have to go for the tests again when I go see a fs.

Oh and I wanted to ask you, does medical aid pay for a portion (at least) of the fs consultation fees? I know they don't pay for fertility medication and procedures, but what about the consultation fees?

LOL Andy, jip i also thought of something to drug myself with hehehehehehehe Epi would have worked. Mine lasted for 4 days this time. Maybe it comes with the age. grrrrrrrrrrrr

Lalie, what is the rubella? I've never tested that either or the insulien?

Oh and Andy, you mentioned about knowing in your heart if its a bfp or bfn. I just knew, even before I tested!

Thanks ladies for the congrats. Still have to go for bloods, but no matter when I go, wont have results till monday. Darn small towns! I somme drive the 30km. But our lab doesnt want to draw blood themselves anyway.

Didn't catch up much but I did notice Esmari!! Congrats hun! I'm wishing you a h&h pregnancy ahead - wonderful news!!

I'll catch up a little later - Strikkie and Andy - AF pains are horrid. I hate it - wish I could just be pregnant already so that we don't have to go through this crap

All my bloods are back at Dr P's office - thought I'll take a chance and maybe it's there already = but he's in surgery today so I'll phone again tomorrow. For some reason I'm a little bit nervous but ah well - whatever will be will be!

Andy I think it was you that asked - he tested my FSH/LH levels again, thyroid function, rubella resistance and insulin resistance (I've never been tested for any of these - except FSH which was 8 in May)
