@Pinkmommy LOL at packers fleeing when they see you  , its frustrating not getting what you've searching for.

has any of you ladies used Coconut Milk for your LOs? went to see Una's Dietician today and she recommended that we try coconut in her cookies, if she tolerates it then I can use coconut milk to cook her food.

@Patty, I stopped harrassing the packers at Woolies, they started fleeing when I walked in  .

@Meags, shame hun, you do know that you will get Matt big eventually???? Funny how the allergic babies also have reflux?

Iz also has reflux. She is 1 and hasn't outgrown it yet. I'm still making her bottles with Nestargel.

We're on Alpi now, but I have to dilute it even further, cause it still gave her mild cramps. And we've been having a mild rash, I suspected the soya she accidently got in from ribs a week ago and again in dry wors I gave her.

Hi

Just an update. Saw the specialist. He says Matt is highly allergic/sensitive/whatever to milk so since the Nutramigen has hydrolysed milk proteins he cannot have it as his symptoms are indicating a reaction...

SOOO... we are on the R400 a tin that lasts 3 days formula...fantastic.
Anyway. Hopefully now he will stop being such a moany baby and start sleeping better, have normal stools, no red bum, less vomitting etc etc etc.

We are still to continue on reflux meds as specialist says he has symptoms of both and that we may even need to increase the reflux meds. Disappointed in that as I was kind of hoping all these symptoms were only allergy related and we could stop the meds but alas....such is life!

I'm going mad, seriously, could've sworn I posted this afternoon, now I can't find it!

Anyhoo, I got some Alpi @ Dischem. Also ran into Fruit & Veg, but offcourse they didn't have fresh goatsmilk...we mos live in Richardsbay! I did shock horror managed to get some goats cheese.

I mailed 3 farms in the Midlands Meander area to see if they might be able to courier me some supplies once a month perhaps as its just 3 hours drive.

We are going through to Durban on Saturday for my mom's birthday so I'll go harass some pretty people for goats milk there! B)

I tell you Patty, there was a time we saw the Paed more than we saw the granny and grandpa!
