Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Hi girls, my home made nappies takes about 2 to 6 hours to dry on a cold day depending on the amount of sun. I wouldn't have made it with nappies that takes so long!! Have you tried a Dri-buddy? One cycle is 120 min, and it should dry your nappies if you hang them well apart.

so i ordered a trial pack of BMio this morning and still trying to get hold of someone that sells stegi but im going to buy a stegi waterproof too today. i want to try out both.

then i will also get a fleece proof from MN later. im just scared to get the MN nappies as it seems they take very long to dry

my home made nappies are the best, im just really not crazy about the big bulky waterproof LOL Fussy i know

@ 2kidmamma. My nappies take 1 dayand a night to dry in good weather. I'm in durbs though, so its pretty warm here still (it was 28 degrees on sunday). I wash my nappies in the evening when my hubby gets home and do an extra spin cycle. I then hang them over a clothes horse overnight in the guest bathroom with a fan blowing directly onto them. In the morning I hang them out (my washing line gets a lot of sun) and leave them he whole day (from about 7 am before hubby leaves for work till abotu 16h30). Usually they are dry, but on cooler days they are still damp i put them in my dri buddy with it on for about 2hours and then leave them hanging overnight. The follwong morning thy are always dry (BTW I have my dribuddy in James bedroom so it acts as a heater in he evenings when I am bathing etc as well)

When its wet (we havent had rain in ages so this has only happened once in three months) I keep the nappies on the clothes horse with the fan in the day too and in the evening put them in the dribuddy for 2 hours before leaving them. In the morning they are usually still a bit damp, so anothe hour in the dry buddy seems to be enough.

This is a question for the Mums using Mother Nature nappies. Well, how do you get yours dry sooner than 3 days hanging inside and outside and without using the Tumble Dryer and if you use the Tumble Dryer from when you take it out the machine how long is it in the Dryer for? I had mine in the dryer for 1 hour last night and they were still wet when they came out. I hung them this morning but had to go back in the dryer for about 20mins to get dry for school. Please let me your tricks??

I will maybe use the MN waterproof and the fleece over it with a booster pad.

I use my own nappies, its made from towelling with a felt insert to make it more absorbent. Then I secure it with a Stegi waterproof and at night I put the fleece waterproof over the Stegi one. But since i've been using bigger nappies and cut down more on night drinks, the stegi waterproof harly leaks. I still use the fleece just for incase.

You use the MN Night Fleece hey? I wanted to ask a question. My LB is weeing right through his disposable with a MN booster Pad inside and a night fleece over it. I was thinking considering I am changing bedding and clothing anyway each morning I may as well be using washables at night also. My question is, do I use a normal MN waterproof and then the night fleece or just the Night Fleece? I know this might sound a bit silly but I am not quite sure about it.
