Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Never used them Siswe, but the Stegi orders takes just a couple of days. I ordered waterproofs on Friday afternoon 16 July, but I only send the proof of payment the Monday (19th). I got a email the Tuesday to say that my order has been sent and I went to the post office on Friday and it was there already.

Hi Claudia, i have not used a cloth nappy during the night but will have to start as soon as i potty train, im a bit scared already, i hope they keep in through the night. But luckily he doesnt drink that much during the night anymore so his bladder is not that full.

I'm happy at the moment that I live in Durbs, where most days 1 day on the libe seems enough to dry my MN nappies, but not looking forward to summer when its so humid that not even my husbands cotton work shirts dry in a day:(

I'm busy trying to make fleece covers at the moment. I just put them straight over james nappy at night because I find that it means his nappies are dryer in the morning. If I put a normal PUL cover on his nappies are soaked and I hate the thought of him being so wet for a long period. I find that in the morning his clothes are a bit damp, but not sopping and his bed linen seems fine..

your right 2 kidmamma, they all take long to dry. i see with my home made nappies, they take the whole day too, sometimes they stay till the next morning.

Anina, i think im just going to make the inserts that can fit into the stegi. I can make them as thick as i want and that way i can make a lot and if they do take long to dry its okay, because there will be a lot.

so im still only busy with the cloth nappies for Henko, i dont want to start with the small ones because i cant fit them at the moment. Im going to use huggies for the first two weeks and in that time i can make LB's nappies to fit perfectly.

Ag, that's a pity Gerne, you could have got some extra's then. Oh well. Yah, I guess the stegi could take long to dry but besides the BM nappies it seems they all take long to dry LOL
