Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Oh and they are also one Size so you don't have to buy different sizes like with Bm and Stegi when they were still on the market. Stegi also didn't use PUL, they used a type of PVC and that is why they degraded so quickly. PUL is very hardy and 100% breathable so less chance of rashes and bacteria buildup. It's cheaper to buy a 1:1 Econobum set than to buy 1 Bambimo Mio cover in just one size.

The Earthbabies cover is also really great and would work quite well on the stegi nappy, I use the econobum cover over my stegi nappies that I have and the main reason this works so well is that it has snaps and can be adjusted really nicely and doesn't move around like velcro does.

Bulelwam, I found that the Bambino mio covers are great quality. The only problem I have with them is the velcro. I used to like velcro, but since I've tried poppers, I'll never go back to velcro covers. I used to buy BM covers and make my own nappies. But then Econobum got on the market and its actually cheaper to buy their nappy sets with covers than buying covers alone. The other thing I love about the Econobum is that the covers adjusts so you don't have to buy different sizes.

MM, I've only tried the verimark one, and I must say I'm very happy with it. I had some lab work done on the water and it definitively doesn't poison the water. I've had it for a year now and its still working great. Maybe next time I'll get the biowash ball and then I can really compare.

I know this was discussed a while back, but now I've tried both the glomail "biowash ball" and the actual biowash ball, and the real thing is by FAR better. the glomail one stopped working within a month and would often leave "dirt" on my clothing.

With the real one I dont get stains or anything - not even on poo nappies! So I'm really impressed.

And wow was I ever so happy this week that we went cloth nappy - was in spar and they had the ad annoucments saying the "special" on nappies was from "as little" as R100 a bag! Geez!

Most of my Bambino Mio covers are second hand and I have had no issues with them. I used the size small till she was 7 months old, medium at the moment and will probably have to buy a large pretty soon. I had 4 size small. I have 4 size medium - 2 new, 2 2nd hand. I could probably get by with only 2, but I only wash nappies once a week and just rinse the covers throughout the week as needed then wash on Saturday. I'm only going to buy 2 size large.

I've never used the Earthbabies ones. Always thought about trying them but never really had extra money to just 'try'.
