sorry, typing quickly with one hand. Bound to make some mistakes.

Don't apologise - your typo made my day - I was laughing so much. I have a very active imagination and was imagining my shade ha ha

I'm sick - got a cold, have an assignment to hand in tomorrow (which I've just finished! Yay!) and my son wakes up every 2 and a half hours at night so I have been super miserable. Thanks for making me laugh :)

Then, I've had success with cloth at night! I've used a muslin square, with a stegi inside (they are very absorbant!) and a woolworths waterproof. :woohoo:

Next week's my son's first birthday and I just hope he is not sick then (he's not yet, but I expect it seeing that I am sick).

Happy Sunday ladies x

Love that big bum!! I think I must try a Stegi inside muslin at night. How do you fold the muslin?

@ Amanda Shade, I just wanted to also say that I loaded up some nice new Booster Pads on the Earthbabies Product line which you might try in your Night time nappies. These will work well in the Cherub Tree nappuies also. www.doodlebums.co.za/category.aspx?categoryID=267

I'm not THAT big that I make Shade.... It's Schade, not shade

Thanks Celeste, I'll let you know when I'm ready to try something new.

Hi Amanda

Yes, definately no Softener to be used. Softener as a rule is just bad for any clothing. if you want to achieve a softening effect some vinegar does a wonderful job. For a Nice Smell in the washing you could add some lavender or other essential oils. I really want to suggest you consider buying the Bam+Boo Night time soaker for your Bam+Boo nappies and use those at night. They will do the trick for you. I have stock and can send ASAP!! R50 each with R18.15 postage.

Thanks Anina & Kaye

I can't remember whether I've used softener on my spoegdoeke. I just remember from beginning I didn't use softener on any of my son's washing. Now I"m thinking of using them at night on my boy with muslin square but don't know if it'll absorb as it is supposed to.... :S

I must admit, now that I use the Bloublommetjiekloof laundry stuff that I don't use softener either. I do have some softener (Sta-soft) but it's been standing there for months... maybe I'll just chuck it! It does smell a bit too girly and hubby will complain if his clothes smells girly :D

Cheerio
