Anina, the Biobroek is actually a plain Bio baba Nappy sold without the hemp insert. It's the plain nappy with all it's usual padding just with no loose booster. So you may as well buy a full nappy and get to use it for that purpose as well.

Anina - where are you? Would you like to borrow my Stegi pants and see how they work for you?

2KM - the Econobum nappies, can you use a different insert (Stegi or BM) in them or only the Econobum ones? I like that the cover is adjustable, and is cheaper than the BM ones so if hey could take the BM nappies then I would just buy those rather and use over all my different brand inserts!

I'm gonna give the MN pull ups a try and see how they work, they are after all by far the cheapest option. I ordered from you Celeste, first time ordering from you! I will let you guys know what I think about potty training and cloth nappies...

Yah, Bambino Mio or rather the company that imports them charge me R80 postage but the price on the website is R149. I don't know what babycity charge but I would imagine they probably put a hefty markup on their products, you know they have such huge Rents to pay.

To be honest I don't think you will be happy using the Bio Baba as a Swim nappy if you have already used the BM one. It is not the same at all. I use the Bio Baba as a Swim nappy for my son and it works find but it's just as if he has a normal AIO nappy on in my opinion, I just remove the Hemp insert.

Thanks Celeste, thats exactly what I wanted to know... I think my best bet will be to go and buy a BM one and try it for myself. Maybe I can put a old school waterproof over it in winter. Why is the BM stuff cheaper on your site than at Baby city? I suppose there is postage that gets added to your price.

I also don't think I would use a PULL cover for swimming. The BM one is fine for me. And Claudia is starting swimming lessons in August, by then hopefully Stefan can swim without his, then i'll use his for her... I suppose the MN ones are much the same as the BM one.

I will check out the Bio baba nappies as well.

Okidokes. Biobaba nappies are specifically mareketed as Day/Night/Swim & Potty training nappies. They don't have PUL they have PVC inners which are even more likely to degrade with Chlorine and salt. I really don't know how they can market it like this but it's a good marketing tactic becuse it makes the nappy more appealing if you are getting good value for money.
