Sarah, the Woolworths waterproofs were R20 for two.

My boy also still nurses through the night - 3 to 4 times!

I don't like the Stegi waterproof - I don't like anything with Velcro actually! lol

I tried 2 terry nappies, but they're SO bulky on my baby's bum that she looked like a starfish with her legs stuck out to the sides and nappy to her knees! Went back to 2 muslin, but it wasn't absorbing enough because she does occasionally nurse during the night and right now I'm using disposables at night because nothing will work. I think after next payday I should get some WW waterproofs and try them over the muslin and Stegi - my BM and Stegi waterproofs don't fit over anymore, too bulky. Sounds like the WW waterproof are decent quality.

Sarah, I was also concerned that the waterproof is going to be too hot / too tight / uncomfortable. I put the cloth on and then the waterproof. I think I spent more time on the waterproof than the cloth. I kept checking that it wasn't going to cut off any blood supply somewhere

I even asked my husband to check ...

Then of course I watched him (bub, not hubby) like a hawk to check whether he was going to fiddle with the waterproof (giving me the sign that he didn't like it). But he kept on doing his thing like he always does.

One of the ladies here mentioned her mom telling her to use two terry cloths and a waterproof at night like they did in the old days. That just made me think - why are we trying to hard to get things to work we are struggling with (well I was).

So my bub has a cherub tree & bumbeetle bum in the day and a old fashioned bum at night

I use that fold too Normally I use a folded muslin as a booster but that wasn't fitting in her waterproofs! I worry about the plastic waterproofs, I think the elastic around the legs always looks uncomfy. Doesn't look like it bothers your little man!

I used the bat/chinese/origami fold (think strip in middle).
