Anina, I unfortunately dont have samples of the MN training pants but they are much like the BM. They have a waterproof lining in the middle between two cotton layers.

I was just on the bumbeetles site and they say you can use those as swimwear without the insert, I wonder if they would work as training pants?

I used to use a folded muslin square with another one inside as a booster, but the fold I was using (the origami one) doesn't fit Skye anymore and a terry nappy with an insert is so bulky she doesn't sleep well.

@Anina - Skye does still nurse a bit at night but she's figured out to latch on by herself and I leave my pj top unbuttoned or off So I actually have no idea how much but must be quite a bit if she wee's that much!

Thanks 2km, I'll think about it, but my problem is that he pulls the nappy off to go to the potty and then obviously can't put it back on if its held together by velcro.

Have you got a sample of the MN training pants? I'm just wondering what they feel like as i've only seen the BM ones and didn't even realise that they have a waterproof layer in. If the MN ones have waterproofing on the outside (so to keep the clothes dry) I would prefer to try them.

Please don't tell me I'm the first potty training mummy on the thread... (exept for Sarah who trains other peoples kids...)

Rebecca from Bam+Boo has bam+Boo outer covers without inserts that we can sell to you for R100 each, you could perhaps consider using this as a type of training pants for your little boy? Sounds a bit expensive but then you could use it later as outer covers for your LG's prefold nappies. Only thing is it has velcro closures and is not a pull up but it wont get wet on the outside and onto the clothes,.
