Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Ladies, have you ever thought about using Re-usable or washable liners? Bam+Boo have the most divine ones made out of soft flanner and they really arn't expensive. Alternatively, you girls are all so handy with Sewing machines why don't you just make your own. Here is the link to the page on Doodlebums so you can see what they look like. They measure about 25x10cm and it's really just two layers of nice flannel.

@Kaye, I've stopped using liners about 2 months ago. This is for both my son (20 months) and my daughter (4 months) and it works just fine without liners. I have a septic tank so got tired of having to get rid of liners and wasn't going to buy expensive ones...

Re Cherubs liners - I also wash mine 3 or 4 times if they're just wet.

Cherubs liners contain viscose which doesn't degrade that well. They can be flushed but should never be used in Septic tank or similar systems. The MN are by far safer and can be washed once or twice and re-used like you say. I use the cherubs liners and do flush them occasionally but they really shouldn't be flushed. cherub wetwipes are now 100% bidegradable so hopefully they will be following suit with their nappy liners too.

You do know that you make me want to buy 1 each just because I love cloth nappies so much lol!!!

I have been known to flush Cherubs liners I mostly use cloth liners and in an emergency thick paper towel or nothing!
