Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

karienH, 25 Nappies are more than enough and I must say having a combination of different brands of nappies is sometimes a very good thing as they all have different qualities and some people like using different nappies at different times of the day.

I use the Biowashball and it works great. I save so much on washing powder and never have to worry about my nappies being ruined by detergent. I have 1 Biowashball and use it for clothes and nappies. I must just stress that if something needs pre-treating like with ordinary detergent the biowashball will not miraculously take the stain out. You still need to pre-treat. Best is to rinse poo off a nappy immediately and wring out the nappy and then put it in the dry bucket with your tea tree oil before washing. I use my biowashball with my Top Loader and it works just fine. I have been using mine for 2 years now and still have atleast another year of use out of it before I need a new one.

I am just waiting for info from the company so i can load them on the web. I can send you any info you want and you can buy anytime from me even if it's not on the doodlebums website. The prices for Bumgenius start at R120 for the Newborn size and then go up to R230 for the Organic elemental. The BumGenius are the All in one One size nappies where the Flip and Econobum are hybrid nappies which means One Size AIO cover with a Prefold insert much like the Bambino Mio except the insert is allso OSFA.

I have 2 fleece liners at home but my son poo's at least 4 - 5 times a day still (he's 9 months now), and thats not pleasant to clean off a fleece liner! I think my husband will then decide to never change a nappy again. Probably easier to keep buying MN liners then or change to Cherubs but try remember not to flush!

I use reusable ones...I sewed some, but then got lazy and just chopped some fleece into liners and use them like that - no sewing
