Hi GwenE

If you can get hold of the GNLD or Tripple orange then do that. They are the most concentrate of the lot and will go a very long way. Stay away from Soap and softener based products. They will really damage your nappies in the end.

Just wanted to say that Kate wore her cloth nappies for the first time last night and looks SO cute! Works like a dream, and all we do is change the inner during the night. Such bliss.

Will post some big bum photos soon :)

Hi

On the subject of Laundry cleaning...I have been using Sunlight Baby on my nappies (BM) but am wondering if that could be wrong? What other option are there? I've heard of Bloublommetjieskloof; Triple Orange; Enchantrix; and GNLD. What have your experiences been and which would be most economical? I can't tell from the websites how much needs to be used per wash. I use BioClassic on my regular laundry but not sure if it would ruin my nappies, also read that EcoSoft is also no good?
Thanks :)

Hi Cloth Mommies

How are you all doing? it's been quiet here. I heard of a new product today which i am keen to try available at Pick 'n Pay called ProBac Laundry stain remover. ANybody used this yet? It's apparantly 100% Biodegradable and safe to use on your nappies. I would be interested to know.

Hi Cloth Nappy Mamma's

Where is everybody? I just wanted to let you in on a little something which I think is super cool and am just so excited about it.

I have recently added the Econobum nappy system to the Doodlebums website and I wanted to make sure everybody new about them. They are an incredibly affordable Prefold system with a One size fits all waterproof cover. This means that you can use it from about 4kg's up until potty training, you never need to buy different sized covers for your prefolds. the prefolds are also one size and are made in such a way that you fold it differently for different sizes, Just an example of how incredibly affordable it is you could buy a full set of nappies (24) and 6 covers for a mere R800!!!! WOW, I just can't get over it. there is no skimping on quality here!

I have tested this nappy and I want to tell you I am very very impressed, this coming from an AIO fan!! You can buy from 1 nappy & 1 cover up until this 6 cover 24 prefold set. The prefolds are made out of a lovely unbleached cotton and are really soft. :woohoo: The other beuty of this is that the covers can be used with any prefolds and even the stegi or mother nature nappies which is what I have been doing. This could even be an option for existing Prefold Mamma's to add on to their prefold collection at a very minimal cost.

The covers only come in white but have either a white/green/blue or pink trim.
