Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

EmsMom - glad you are getting nice responses. All I'm getting is: WHY? Are you crazy?? What for?? Are you serious?? But why? Hmmmmmmm anyways so it's weird, for the last two nights I've been dreaming about cloth nappies - my dreams just carry on and on and on and I'm between all these cloth nappies and can't make up my mind and folding them and decisions and decisions. I'm one of those people who hates to spend money on something necessary - always weighting up the pro's and cons! I can't tell how how many sites I've been to looking at these cloth nappies . Think I'm gonna order 1 month end and take it from there.

I Love the Bam+Boo Soaker pads, they cost R40 each. The Hemp Boosters from Biobaba 5 for R114 are cool and then Mother Nature has 6 Boosters for R95 but they are quite small compared to the others. They are all good but the Bam+Boo is about as big as the whole nappy and so covers a whole area. I haven't tested the B+Boo Boster in the cherub tree nappy yet but I am sure it will fit perfectly.

OOoo Thanks 2kidmamma!! That was the one thing making me not sure about the cherub tree was that you couldn't get their boosters in SA (i know you said a plan could be made but it sounded difficult) So now I can look at different boosters for the cherub tree .... yippeee! Roll on payday so I can start my collection!

Do you recommend the boosters you mentioned below? (oh dear, sorry the questions start again!!)

EmsMom, I am so glad you like your nappy. if I were you I would pratice on a Doll with regards to folding the nappy down and making it smaller etc before baby comes. Remember once you have it folded to the size you want you don't have to undo it to wash it. It can be washed with the clips in place.

LucyW, you could put anything in the Cherub Tree & Bam+bOo and Duki pockets to boost them up. Let me give you and example in my Bam+Boo nappies at night for my Son who wees alot I put two Bam+Boo Soakers and their booster and 2 Mother Nature Booster pads or a Hemp booster from Biobaba. Just remember if you stuff any of the nappies too much they might loose some of the nice fitting at the leg which could cause leaking to occur if the leg gapes. But I have never had this problem and I REALLY boost my nappy so that I don't get woken up with a wet baby in the middle of the night.
