Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Nox, don't get me wrong, the normal mother nature nappies are great, I am just not a fan of the AIO. You see the PUL material that is used in the other brands is a far better quality material but it is not available locally so Mothernature have to use an alternative which is unfortunately not quite as waterproof. If you have a problem with leakage on the sides and legs of the Bam+Boo then the nappy is most likely not fitting well. If it is leaking on the outer cover then please contact Rebecca at Bam+Boo as I am sure she will be happy to address your concerns as the quality of the nappy is of the utmost concern to her. It should most definately not be leaking on the outer cover, perhaps there was a small tear in the TPU, if so then let her know.

I too use the Mother Nature all-in-ones and have never had a problem with leakage .... I tried the one from bam+boo and found it leaked ... not impressed with those ones ... and just felt very synthetic!

I suppose whatever works for one is the way to go but because I find the bamboo & cotton blend far softer then the synthetic nappies around ... and have not had a problem with leakage from the Mother Nature nappies ... they definitely get my vote!

Thanks Nox, please remeber though that the AIO nappies from brands like Bam+Boo also use Bamboo/Cotton which is also very natural and PUL which is a very breathable natural waterproofing material. Brushed Cotton is used for the outer and is not so synthetic like perhaps the Bio Baba although this is mainly a Hemp based nappy which goes through a far more environmentally process to make. The Beauty of Bamboo is it is self renewing and has that antibacterial quality but Hemp is definately the more environmetally friendly out of the two.

I must say I tested the Mother nature all in one nappy on my Son and I am very unimpressed with it because it wet right through even after only 2 hours. I use the normal mothernature nappies too but much more prefer the All in ones with the PUL which is very waterproof and breathable so no bacteria can form in the nappy like with PVC or even Polycotton laminate like mother nature use.

I use the Mother Nature bamboo nappies which are just great ... tried a few of the other brands - but was drawn to the Mother Nature ones as they are far more environmentally friendly than the other brands as they are made from bamboo. Bamboo also has a natural antibacterial quality to it and I find them very aborbant.

To aid in the absorbtion I just insert a few bamboo booster pads - easy!

My baby who is 5 months old does not get any rashes when I use these nappies.

Mother Nature have also just brought out an all in one nappy and the bonus is that they are not made of synthetic material and fit from birth-to-potty training years.

And, they are manufactured in South Africa!

Should be going so will do..got the swimming nappies last week - look great. Can't wait to try them out. I'll let you know which I feel are the better brand.
