You should get 1000 4Kg or less loads per ball that you use and it equates to roughly about 3 years use that being you was very regularly. If you think about not having to use washing powder (About R60 per month) Softner (R30 per month) and being able to save on water by pouring the grey water from your machine directly into your garden then it's a really really big save.

Mom2LnB - as far as I know they do not have a time limit. My FIL got out his old old ones from like 15 years ago and they still work (my MIL at first refused to use them, but now that we use ours he insists) but the old one is 3 different ones you need to put in at different times.

Ah Emsmom. it's me celeste from Doodlebums. If your Mom wants the Biowashball then please let her know she can also get it off the doodlebums website. My daughter was off day nappies only by about 2.5 years but night time till about 3 years. My Son is 19 months and is showing absolutely no sign he is near ready to start potty training.... Oh well will have to wait and see, I'm also not worried though because I am not buying disposables so there is nothing to worry about, I have all the nappies I need.

My sisters LB was also trained by 2 and off the night nappy by 2yrs 3mnths.

Not that i think im going to be able to do that as my LB doesnt show too much interest.

Ya, I'm also interested to see that. My mom is going to buy the biowash ball though - two actually, cause she is also not a verimakr fan. But can't waste something now can we.

BTW, I got Em potty trained before her 2nd birthday I was very lucky, and she was out of nighttime nappies by 2 1/2. I'm really hoping the next one is the same, but I don't stress about it.
