Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Hi Joli,

I liked Cherub Tree the most, but the poppers one, not velcro. I also bought three Bam+Boo nappies which I'm going to use night time. My baby will be six months old Thursday
He wee's a lot at night hence I've decided on Bam+Boo as I can add a lot of boosters.
The sun is out and I have my Cherub Tree's in the washing machine

Initially I wanted the Bam+Boo ones as they are just too beautiful for words. You know us ladies like things to look pretty....

Amanda & 2kidMamma - thx for the advice. So Amanda, which nappy did you like most? I don't think my baby will wear nappies when reaching 16kg. Kayla is 7 and still not weighting 16kg LOL and Megan is nearly 3 and I think she weights about 12 / 13 - off nappies long time ago. So the nappy won't have to fit until then. OK let me have a look again at Cherub Tree. Seeing that I don't know baby's gender and won't be finding out, I was thinking of adding cloth diaper to my baby shower list - so some of the guest can buy like 1 x nappy each

I read online about cloth nappies over and over and over.

I then thought I picked the one I liked but luckily decided to buy one each of the "top 3".
I tried them each on my baby a few times and I have now made my decision. And it wasn't the one I liked first from reading websites!

It is a big once-off expense so you want to be sure. Well that's how I felt about it. And today I got my order - yay! Now just to pre-wash them all and it's raining!!!

We should all start writing / phoning Dischem, Baby City etc and complaining that they don't stock them...maybe that would help I was also going to get some eco-disposables but I've been given several half used / opened packs of normal disposables that I'll use in the hospital and go straight to cloth when I get home.

Sarah and 2Kidmamma - I still think it is so wrong. I will def buy on line but thought for the eco disposables that I plan to use for the first 6 weeks only ..... I could at least save the postage cost. Mmmm

2Kidmamma - I am leaning towards the cherub tree. You summarised nicely for Joli. May I ask you opinion on the Duki as they seem similar to the cherub tree? Oh and do the cherub tree's that you have come with velcro or poppers. In your pics you only have velcro? Sorry for all the questions. Want all the info when I decide to buy!

Joli, if you are looking for something Super Slim then definately go for the Cherub Tree. This is the All in One One size fits all nappy and it's really about as bulky as a disposable when it is on. The Mother Nature nature nappy is also not bulky on it's own but when you put a waterproof on it does become bulky. The Bam+Boo is cut bigger than the cherub tree so it will be bulky in the begining but baby will grow into them and then you are guaranteed a fit to about 16 Kg's where cherub tree may start getting tight around 13kg's

OK, so what cloth nappies are the easiest and best to use? Sorry been to the cloth diaper website about 100 times, but just can't decide. Don't like the nappy to be to bulky between the legs. Would like to try a combination of cloth / disposables.
