I soaked my Bibs in a Bucket with a small scoop of Steri nappy overnight then washed them in the machine the next day.

I soaked my LB's colored nappies for 2 days (they are made from fleece and flennie) before i washed them in the machine.

Fill a bucket and just put half a scoop of sterri nappy in and soak it for the day, if the results are not great then make it stronger. thats the advice i would give you. my colored stuff has not yet stained so i hope same for you!

And dont forget about sunlight soap (the bar), rub that on the stain and hang it in the sun, works great!

I used sterri nappy, but i found that it defnitly damages your nappies over time. I now just use a bit of Sunlight hand wash soap to soak nappies in, then also don't add more detergent in the washing machine. It works just as well as sterri nappy. Remember my nappies sometimes soak for over 3 days before i need to wash.

thanks for the advice 2kidmamma. i wont use it then anymore I have heard in the past i shouldnt but i just thought a little bit wont do that much harm

You can use the steri nappy Gerne, just remember it will eventually damage the nappy fibres and they will become less absorbant, doesn't matter who's nappy you are using. As far as softener goes I would tell you definately to stop using it. it's going to make your nappies start stinking after a while from Residue buildup and it will half the lifespan of the nappy.
