file Feeding your baby BLW style

Sorry, forgot to add that if I had to buy a chair again, I would just buy the clip-on chair from the start. Zani is still too small for us to use the feeding tray on her chair, so we just push it in to the dining table any way. Also, you can take the clip-on chair along if you go away for a weekend or even to a restaurant (some of them don't have baby seats). I guess you can use the high chair for longer thought...

Claudia - those clip on chairs are brilliant. My little girl has one at granny's house for breakfast and lunch. I think you get them from about R300 at Baby City. The one we have says on the box that the max weight is 15kg.

Okay, what do you guys think about high chairs? I know that I can use a bumbo seat and tray now for feeding, but to be honest I know that hat wont last forever. High chairs just seem so pricey, so I was also thinking maybe those chairs that clip onto the table, but then is there a max weight? Any comments???

I used a Bumbo with both my kids till about 7 months then they were uncomfortable in it. I then just borrowed feeding chairs from friends. I contemplated buying a second hand one on Gumtree. I have seen them there starting from around R150. Ok so they are not those fancy onces (Nice like yours Christelle) But they will do the job. The one I lent from my Friend was handmade by someone, it has been through 5 Kids, mine is the 6th one. It was very cleverly made so that you can take the seat part off and convert the leg part into a table so you have a chair and table for a toddler, we are going to start using it like this shortly because my LB tends to stand up in it and I am worried about him falling

Cute Christelle

Ok, so Fishfingers and Sweet potato wern't a hit. He had once little piece of each and then turned it away. I tried to give him some Purity Peaches and oats in a litle bowl with a spoon but he also didn't want that. I might just not have been hungry.
