Feeding your baby BLW style

I'm am doing a combo of "normal" spoon feeding and then the BLW. Troy loves his mashed banana, apple, pear and cereal and yogurt so we feed him that with a spoon. He can eat a whole banana in one sitting! Oink oink! Tried giving him a piece to hold but it was impossible!

Loves his dried mango and Oli teething biscuits to suck.

Rocco, I'm with Jems on this one. If they do that then they aren't really ready for solids but keep offering because as you know one day they can't roll over and the next they roll over like they've been doing it for years - so to know when they are ready they have to be exposed

So keep up the good work girls!

Don't worry Rocco - Troy did the same - managed to get a tiny piece of sweet potatoe in his mouth and a little bit of cheese. I don't think he is quite ready yet but we will keep on trying and making it a play time thing!

Im afraid to say that my little pumpkin thinks her food is rattles! she bashes everything on her bumbo tray until its mush! not much, if any, makes it into her tummy

I'll keep trying tho.

Rocco, I started with all 3 on the same day but very quickly started skipping breakfast because she just wasn't interested in eating early in the morning and leaving it too late made it lunch time already So I did a 'midmorning' lunch and dinner and only started with breakfast from 9 months on when there was a drastic increase in the amount she ate and I got tired of having nothing left of my piece of toast in the morning

when i started reading this post u took the words right out of my mouth..
my lg started with pureed veggies but then suddenly refuses to eat anything off a spoon! i actually gave up trying new things cuz she justs gag and then puke everything out! eeeewk

however we'll be starting BLW tomoro.. im so excited. she likes holding things and putting it in her mouth. i have already given her a piece of apple to suck on. she absolutely loved it!

Im just not sure if i should start with one meal or go for all 3 from the start??
