I am so glad this is back on the top of the page!
It is by far one of the best decisions ive made in regard to my child.
Thanks again Marijke for all the advise!
My experience,
I offered tap water at six months through a straw cup, she never did get a sippy cup, at every feeding.
Eggs we tried at 6 month
Rash, Clair get it every now and then but she does have super sensitive skin, and im sure its from some fruit juices, but who knows which as she likes all fruit so always have plenty on standby for snacks.
Also never worry about the amount they consume, some days it will seem they eat nothing in comparison to there puree fed friends, when they catch on the consume alot. up untill 9 months Clair was a small eater now has a large appetite for anything and everything and most ppl were amazed at seeing a small baby eat whatever was on our plate. Also a range of flavour, she prefers spicy foods than bland, so going out to eat she loves to try new food.
One problem is veggies, unless they have cheese sauce or other spice she does not like them

if they are bland it gets through overboard the high chair lol. Only solution ive found is by using purity veggies to use as a spread on her bread

at least they have some use in this house. (any solution to the veggies would be greatful) also she refuses yogurt (becaue i used to spoon feed her that, so now has yogurt in her straw cup, lol. Also found she prefers our breakfast cereals to babies (who blames her it taste awful, so cheerios and cornflakes make a fantastic cereal with little mess!
