Yes so close and can't wait to meet our girl, going for my 39 weeks consultation on Friday, can't wait to know how I'm doing down there. I'm drinking raspberry herbs, brewing them as tea, not that bad tasting

Everything is packed and ready, really now just waiting for those beautiful pains we long for hahahaha.... and yes she better not even think of coming later than next week!!!

No poor thing is stuck in there hahahaha. Dr Maasdorp removed the stitch last Saturday, it went well. After that I booked at Genesis and everything, glad that part is secure.
Yesterday I saw Phindi, she did a VE, it was so cool when she circled baby's head, am so glad she's in a great position and engaged...you know mos with my son Dr diagnosed CPD..
But I have quite a bit of scar tissue cos of the stitch, and my cervix is still quite long. Phindi suggested I start drinking raspberry herbal 3 times a day. Do you know about it and if it works? And to walk a lot.

But otherwise we are doing fine, just the constant pressure gosh.... I'm 38 weeks today.. Funny, was so scared if I'll make it this far, now I'm here and we are wondering if I won't make it too far hahahahaha.. Seeing Phindi on the 4th.. Hopefully by then (39 weeks) my cervix will be more favourable, or I'll really get working cos I can't imagine going overdue!!

It's over!!!!!! The stitch is out!!! The removal wasn't bad, just cramps when he tugged on it, the speculum was horrible though, gosh I hate that thing. I'm still quite sensitive cos of the speculum. A bit of spotting but nothing much. Very swollen today, that tingly one, but so glad the stitch part is over. So ya, just waiting now, baby's bag totally packed, mine a few things outstanding... So good to be so far, and by the grace of God we'll go as far as 40 weeks...not overdue though I hope
