Oh gosh good to be online again, only bought a modem today...how backwards are we :)

It is ridiculous hey... I didn't even ask about what happens if it's c-section, I was fuming and just ready to swear at them :headbang: .... But they did say they will need a new procedure code and Dr's practice number so ya we'll see.

Appointment with Maasdorp was great!!!!!!! He was also puzzled why I was diagnosed with CPD, but ke that Dr was a GP so maybe he was just scared of the whole thing. But ya Maasdorp very confident that all will go well, he was glad baby is engaged already, another confusing part if I have CPD... So ya, I'm seeing him again tomorrow to take off the stitch, then it's just waiting for baby to arrive!!!! I have a bit of ironing left over, but by the time we sleep I'll have our bags packed and they will stay in the boot as from tomorrow morning  ... I'm sooooo excited, it's totally taking over the frustration with my medical aid....my baby will be here anytime now!!!!
The Braxton Hicks are actually less frequent then at like 34 weeks, but they are more intense, but what I've noticed is I get them in the evening more, and they circle my whole waist. The discharge has increased, sorry for TMI, but ya, it's irritating sometimes.

So ya, I shall not freak out about tomorrow...it shall be over in like 5 minutes...I better not waddle after that!!

Sma, that sounds ridiculous! only 68%? Atleast you are aware of this before you give birth instead of being surprised later on. will they cover more if you ended up with an emergency Cesarean ( Hope it wont happen)?

Overall, how are you feeling?

I'm finishing work tomorrow, finally...

Sure hope he does, for his own good, and go get take-aways, or he'll be a frustrated hungry man when I collapse on the bed by late afternoon :P

Finally got authorisation. Gosh I have the stupidiest medical aid!!! They will only cover like 68% of the bill. I mean seriously, their rate for natural birth is R6,500!!!!!!! 2012 R6,500!!!!! Seriously????? I mean Genesis is even cheaper than Netcare. And they will not pay the midwife's fees, which is R4,600, not expensive but you just expect that if you pay over R2,000 every month for medical aid it will be covered. The lady there just told me that of the R6,500 I will have to co-pay 20% since Genesis is a non-preferred provider......crap.... I have alerted our HR department though, being on this medical aid is a condition of employment, sad... But ke, it's just money, will gladly use it for my baby's birth.

It's good that you are feeling better. Are you on maternity leave already? I'm sure your hubby understands that you are easily tired at this stage of pregnancy, so home cooked meals are a treat

LOL Zee I know how that feels, my friends always give birth before me

I'm sooo much better today, not that much pressure and she's not kicking too hard... Maybe it was the jeans I was wearing  ..this constant rain, am running out of my comfy maternity clothes. At least I still managed to cook last night, gosh been having too much take-aways...

VBAC moomies help

I'm 35+3 weeks......baby stretching me so much it brings tears to my eyes. Not painful but very very very uncomfortable. Not driving anymore cos I gotta hold my stomach to help ease the stretching sensation. This is aside from the pressure down there that's now my constant companion.
So now I'm worried about the scar, but again I'm glad she's putting so much pressure cos then it's being "tried and tested" for labour.

Anybody else struggling with this?
