Hello ladies,

I have been a member of Pampers and then the Moomies Pregnancy after D & C group since December 2009.

Have had two chemical pregnancies since then and then finally received a BFP in July! Have been for my first scan at 7 weeks exactly and bean was right on track and we saw a heart beat which was amazing - the first time there wasn't one in 2009. Today I will be 9 weeks along and baby is due on the 6th of March.

Very nervous about this pregnancy as we do not have children and I am already 39 years old.

Have had really good symptoms, eating like a horse, massive boobs, tender as hell and MS all the time luckily not throwing up but feeling nauseous alot!

I have terrible sinus today so decided to stay and bed and thought I would hop over to this thread and see how you are all doing. only wanted to join at 12 weeks because I didn't want to be disappointed if something went wrong but the temptation to talk to others who are going through the same thing is just way too strong!!

Oh I am soooo jealous of all of you that already knows the sex of your babbas! But also trying to save money this month. Pfff had to buy car (the Bakkie is much to bumpy for my back and when babba comes there will be nooo space) So now we are turning every cent!

A friend of mine are due one day before me and she's expecting a girl! jealous jealous jealous.

We took Emma to the Specialist today for those reactive glands in her neck. Well, he is not too worried about them, and we thank God for that. He said that you get that very often with children her age, to get reactive glands with any upper infection. He sent us for blood tests and I’m so proud of my little angel. She didn’t even cry. I told DH that he must take her for the blood test, because I won’t be able to handle it, and he said that she only said “eina” when the needle went in. She got a certificate for bravery from Lancet.

Zel my DH's words at the scan were "that's so cool" coz LO was wriggling about but yes I think he is happy haha!! Congrats on your LG how exciting I can't wait to find out what we having!!

Juandre you and me both I feel that I always have some food in my mouth I am so hungry all the time!!

Ilse your scan is lovely and hopefully Gynae is right and it is a LG! I am also going to ask Dr at our next scan if we can delay the next ones a few weeks as we will run out of the Medical aid because of all the emergency visits

Maureen your LO sounds like a model child and well done for walking away such a clever boy!!

Ilse- I guess we all go so often so that we get to see our babies, the appointments are short as dr asks if there are any problems does a quick scan and you are on your way.

I am going to have to sneak in some nuts or something to keep me going in future. It is terrible

Hi jandre.

It's so expensive to go for these appointments that we would rather go in 10 weeks time and go more regularly towards the end. Doc is happy with it she also feels that it is not necessary to go so often in the early stages.

Ps I won't be able to go that long without food.
