Cookie monster I am so jealous! Whish I could skip 4 weeks. Can't wait anymore so looking forward to having the baby.
I guess it's becuase Xander is already 4 years old and is no longer a baby. He is at that stage now where he doesn't cuddle as often as he used to.
Good luck to everybody going for their scans today. I am going for my first scan at 16:20. Very nervous. At this stage we are not worried about the sex of the baby but rather whether there is one or two.

We have lots of twins in our family. My grandad is one of a identical twin and my mom has a twin brother so the chances are high.

Cakes - Welcome. I don't feel pregnant, I am not sick have nothing except the pain you are refering to. It is called round ligament pains, it just means your muscles are pulling to make space for everything. Most probably also your "baarmoeder" that is growing and streching!

So ladies, my baby has gone off to playgroup this morning. He didn't cry or nothing. To be honest as soon as I put him down and he saw all the toys, we didn't exist anymore. I am trying really hard not to phone and ask what is going on.

Cakes, I don't think you have to worry, with my first 2 pregnancies I didn't have any symptoms(except the extreme tiredness in the afternoons). The pain is also normal, as long as it go away, and it's not there the whole time.

RE your question below... I think it varies a lot from woman to woman and even pregnancy to pregnancy. I had absolutely no preggie symptoms with my son in the first trimester (apart from a tiny bit of nausea when i first tested)... with this one Ive been quite a bit more queasy and bloated. so while its easier said than done, I wouldnt worry about lack of symptoms... and rather count yourself lucky

Welcome Cakes hope you enjoy your time on this Forum and have a great pregnancy!! I am also a 1st time mom and about 8 weeks but at 6 weeks I also had sore boobs and lower back pain but now only the sore boobs I also don't have any MS and hope it stays that way but am tired all the time!

I also have a scan tomorrow @ 11am to make sure all is good with LO after the op so fingers crossed all is well. Ashleigh let us know how it goes

Debbie, so sorry for your lost. Hope for a quick recovery.
We took our LG to the doctor again this morning, after a Very bad night with her. She started to cry hysterical twice last night, and we struggled to calm her down. It was almost like she was confused of where she was and she said that her throat is soar but when I gave her some water she didn’t want it. It took almost 20min to get her back to sleep. And then I’m coughing all the time, so DH didn’t get much sleep.
Anyway at the doctor, Emma was her own self and there was nothing wrong with her. Except for a runny nose… But the doc gave me one look and told me that I’m the one who need meds. So I told him that I’m pregnant and that I’m allergic to penicillin. And he gave me a prescription for antibiotics and for the coughing.
