Juandre – thank you for all your advice. Since gynae appointments only made few weeks in advance, I asked my GP for eglonyl and she prescribed it to me. I took it for 3 days now, it seems to slowly starts working, milk is not flowing like a river just yet, but I already feel unusually too cheerful.

Ha-ha! Well, I thought having a baby is the hardest, but I see how busy you are with a toddler, especially when she is ill. I hope it got better now? BTW, I love Tommy Tippee bottles, I tried various brands and then settled on these and got 6, they are prefect flow and durability! Nuby bottles started leaking after 2 weeks and I had to through them away.
Carol – my tummy is flat but still very wobbly and out of tonus, will have to hit the gym in a week or so, it’s not as perfect as it seems. Ahhh, looking forward to the bright future of relaxed motherhood that you pictured for me. I am so tense and like a nerve ball, constantly worried if I am doing enough, if I am doing something wrong, or if I am not doing something that I should. Going nuts over this baby. I am so jealous of all of you who are having second and third child, been there, done that. Good luck with the last few days, can’t wait to hear the news!
Simone – will take your advice and others to let her wake me up at night. I tried that another night, but when she didn’t wake after 5 hours, I was hovering over her in the middle of the night, thinking “will she die in her sleep of hunger?” I think I need a psychiatrist.
Carlene – how is it going with pain and everything? I hope you manage to make through the last few days without going crazy.
Vision – breastfeeding is still not happening with us, but Tallulah gets my milk and that’s what important for now. Swollen feet – I hated it more than anything, prevents you from running around and doing things you want to do. I rubbed 7 drops grapefruit essential oil, mixed with almond oil into the feet, and then put them up, it helped for a while.
Cookie-monster – I went 1 week overdue. On 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of January I switched on high tempo music and danced like crazy as an attempt to induce labor, on 3rd I also went for aromatherapy massage with labor inducing jasmine and lavender oils, plus acupressure points stimulation. I didn’t go to a professional, family member did it for me, we kind of just googled and figured it out. On 5th I went into labor, don’t know whether all of above helped, or it just was the right time. But then, after all that madness, Tallulah literally jumped out of me, I didn’t have time to realise what happened.
Angi – I also have light and tall baby, those long legs are sooo cute. Enjoy baby shopping, I loved every minute of it!
Pinky – I know how you feel, when everyone tells you how “small” you look, and you cannot help but feel like a hippo. Amazingly, when I got baby shower, there wasn’t one item of clothing in it, mainly bath and body care products, A LOT of them!
I got such broken back and injured wrist from picking up the baby, that had to run to chiropractor already 3 times. I’d like to “relax into motherhood”, but seem to be too worried about too many things, trying to do things prefect and do my best. I think one can kill herself like that. Sometimes I wish Tallulah starts walking and talking already, so that I stop guessing what the crying baby wants. Tallulah got into a mode of crying a lot from 5 am to 10 am and then from 5 pm to 10 pm, it seems like a tummy acne, I don’t know, probably onset of colic. Oh my...
