I have 2 questions ladies, if anybody can give advice on that:

Where do you go for 8 week immunizations that is not so expensive (besides government hospitals). Fourways Life Baby Clinic for example wants R1550. Or is that normal prices to pay?

Secondly, Tallulah is 4 weeks, and I am contemplating to go to supermarket with her, putting her on those baby chairs on top of the trolley. I am super scared. What if she screams all the way through? Anyone has experience and tips on that?

congrats to those whom i have not wished for having their cutie pies already . i cannot wait for my prince to make his arrival. both of us are doing well. 33 weeks today. next gynae appointment is 13th Feb. cant wait slowly getting everything organised. counting down the weeks now . oh im still @ work my late shift this week. until 7pm then gonna run to the bus stop to make my bus... sorry i havent done personals , being distracted again . will chat soon & catch-up. all yo wonderful ladies , take care ...xoxo

Well done on the home birth Ashleigh. Very envious I always wanted to do a home birth but can't give birth naturally due to a scarred uterus
(had two myomectomies).

Taylin was born 31st Jan 2012 at 09:16 weighing 3.19kg, 52cm in length. Had a successful homebirth. When I have more free time I will share my birth story.

Juandre - I was able to seduce my hubby, it did the trick! a couple of hours later baby was born.

Congrats Mumaroo on your twins. For some reason I can not see the pictures . Well done on the weight, I wish I could lose so easily.

Heathers babys name is Logan, they are still deciding on the second name. She delivered naturally with no drugs. She was discharged from hospital the same day he was born and is doing well at home.

Only two more sleeps Ilse and Carlene, good luck and cant wait to see pictures.

I see Ashleigh also had her baby girl- Taylin. Her weight was 3.19kg's and looks beautiful. I wonder if she managed to seduce her hubby and that is why she went into labour

I went for my 32 week appointment today. My c-section is now booked for 13th February as that is the only day that week hubby can be there besides the friday and I dont want to have to spend the weekend in hospital . Baby is doing well and now weighs 2kg's. I see the doc again on 15th February.

Hubby and I have chatted and decided that I will work 3 mornings a week once baby is born. Initially he said I could be a stay at home mom but it would mean big changes to our lifestyle and lots of pressure on him as he owns his own business. I know this would mean alot of stress to our marriage so I said why dont I work mornings.

O, forgot to say, my C-sec is now the 3rd of Feb. That is if Mia doesn’t come before that. I phone the doc this morning and he will rather wait till I’m healthy again. He gave me some medicine, so hopefully I will start feeling better tomorrow. And it doesn’t help that our neighbour decided to burn the grass behind our house. So the smoke in the air makes me nauseas. It’s like having MS all over again. I twice today already.
