Hope you are doing great!!??

Millay is 9 months now - a real little busy bee!! She is sort of crawling , getting onto her knees and going forward a bit, the sitting again, then onto knees again, till she gets where she wants to be! At night , when I go to check on her, she is either sitting asleep upright , or her feet is on her pillow! Standing upright in the cot as well - but getting frustrated in the evening when she wants to, and can't because she's still sleeping with her shoes.

Joined Weighless this week - need to loose 15 kg! Simone - like you I also picked up weight AFTER birth

I am taking the kids to see Lollos tomorrow.

Hi ladies

Oh its been a while!

Juandre....I lost all baby weight...but have now GAINED 12kgs AFTER giving birth:( I want to hang myself... planning to join weight watchers soon.

Miss Kay...good luck with the 4kgs...I am sure you will drop them as you seem to be doing well. I wish there was an easy way to lose weight...lol

Ladies the pics are so adorable....can't belive our kiddies are almost done with their first year!!

Carlene the teething is terrible...we have had some bad nights and I am convinced the tooth is coming...and it just doesnt! Good luck with the rest of them.

We still have no teeth this side, but my boy is walking about 2-3 metres on his own...climbs the furniture and is able to stand by himself. Just when he gets excited he wants to turn around and run away from me then he topples over...lol. But its very cute and he looks so chuffed with himself:)

Sorry have a meeting now so will try to pop in again and hopefully also post a pic!

Amanda-you are such a darling the ice tea is perfect and tasty and will save me on the Nan was buying 4 tins 1.8kg per month now atleast i'll be saving.Thanks

Carlene-Yay on the tooth,I just don't like it when they get sick cause of it though.

Jaundre-I had 10kg to lose and 4 more to go then I'll be a happy woman but i'm scared of hard work though so drinking a slimming tea.How cute that Keira loves the walking ring should she realises that she makes it move you'll never stop her

Carlene, I am so glad the BLW worked. It is amazing how different two children can be.

Carol- I am very lucky with Shiloe, she is a true blessing. I didnt land up sleeping well at the hotel so much for the much needed rest. I did however enjoy just lying on the bed and reading for hours without being interupted.

I wish Keira would sleep through. Last night was a bad night and she was up every 3 hours. I do suspect that she is teething though as she is biting everything and loves to have her gums rubbed. Most nights she wakes at 12ish and then again at 5ish. Now that she is on protein I need to start offering her water at 12 and see if she will go back to sleep. This weekend we are going away so mayb I will try it next week once we are back home.

I started weight watchers and lost 1.4kg in my first week and then nothing the second week. But last week I joined a fitness program. It is 12 weeks long and they really mess you up. Last week I couldnt walk at all. But it feels good to be exercising. And hopefully at tomorrow's weigh in I will have lost more. I have 13kg's to lose.

We put Keira into th ewalking ring yesterday and she loves it. She manages to move backwards but hasnt noticed that she is doing it yet. She isnt sitting just yet but it wont be long. She did only turn 6 months last week.

Jaundre, I tried the Baby led weaning, and whola Mia is eating like a pro. She loves bread, carrots, cauliflower, well anything that you can give by hand and not by spoon. It seems she doesn’t like purified food, except for my Broccoli en sweet potato mix. She had French toast last night. It is so funny how to children out of one household can differ so much.

Amanda, I bought that hat thingy at a flea market type thing at a shopping centre in Pta. But I taught myself how to crochet over the weekend. I made 3 headbands with flowers for Mia. I’m very proud of myself.

Well, I had a rough week last week. Mia slept very well as I “reported” earlier and suddenly the previous Friday night she woke at 22h30 that night, and she stayed awake till I gave her a bottle about two hours later. Saturday, Sunday and Monday night was the same. Tuesday night I had 2hours sleep the whole night. So I made an appointment at the doctor. He could find anything wrong with her and sent me home with neurofen and a nasal spray. And Thursday afternoon a brand new tooth made its appearance in her mouth. I couldn’t believe that one small little white thing can give so many sleepless nights. We didn’t even know Emma was cutting her first tooth, we just saw it in her mouth. Well, if no 1 gave so many troubles, I don’t want to know how the other 19 will be. At least she slept through again Sunday night and last night.

Oh I luuuuuv the pics. Al the kiddies are soooo beautiful!

Thanks for that recipe Amanda, Janroux will drink anything except for milk out of a bottel. He hates the purity juices.

Cookiem - Wow what a scare. Sjo I get that all the time (baby must eat less). But how can you tell a baby to eat less. Janroux is eating less than Half a cup 3 times a day. And its half a cup of food per every 2months of age. And they still need their milk. You cannot starve a baby!!! What, are they crazy! Janroux was 3.9kg at birth and now at 7months he weighs almost 12kg.

I have found that when he teeths his chest start giving problems. So at the moment he has got a few coming out. And wheezing away. So he has a cold as well. Night are not so good, some better than others. Blame it all on the teething and some terrible cramps he is getting.

Miss Kay, sounds like my little dude. So cute hey! he makes this grunting nose to get my attention and then opens his mouth for a bite hehe. Or he will just take it from my hand> The other night we had pizza and he was shouting for more bites> Really tiny bites. but he felt like he was eating what we ate. Was so funny when he grabbed my mothers plate haha.

chubby - yes that is total nonsense. All babies are different.Cute pic! You are lucky getting the first to teeth with birth haha. two less to worry about!

Angie - Izelle is soooo cute! I also got the mammie vas thing goingon here. As he started saying mamma. I cannot leave a room without him starting to moan. Mammmmmma.

Juandre- You are lucky to have such a wonderfull big girl...Sounds like she helps you alot. Ruan is also very helpful. I sometimes forget he is actually still very small! Hey enjoy your well deserved sleep!

Cookie-I am glad Logi is out of hospital.Yes it is true that fat babies either suffer from breathing or sugar diabetes,Nathi also that the pead says he is asthmatic but I dispute that it is just the fat Nathi has bottom teeth,he had them when he was 5 months and now the upper ones are coming,he was never sick though .When we eat he just grabs our plates or moan if he can't reach,how cute but I do give him the bone to suck and was thinking of buying him cheese curls.I'll copy your food plan cause my poor child just eats purities and soft porridge.Nathi fell from the couch,he started crawling on his belly I now put him in his walking ring and since he has realized that whenever he moves his legs the wheels moves he just can't get enough Oh your babies are so cute,you'd swear they are twins

Chubby-Nathi also weighed 10kg at 6 months and he is not late at achieving his milestones I just think its a myth babies are different even slim ones delay.Wow De Wet was born with teeths.Did you go for a photoshoot,they just so adorable with their angelic wings.Woolalala I so love De Wet's blue eyes,he is a born charmer

Amanda-Most kids hate medicines,as long as there is something he enjoys taking its good.Its sad to have to pin a baby down just for meds.A speedy recovery to you and Dieter.Our mother's are a true blessing and I am glad you are appreciating her.Thanks,I'll try the recipe tonight .I'll go look for prune juice3 as I have been giving him more prune purities.I see its fun in the son for brother and sister,they look like they are enjoying their play time,they look so cute....Nathi is skipping the sitting upright phase he just wants to walk but I try to keep him seated but have to support him with cushions.
