I'm back. Vica wanted boob.
She weighs 8kg now! She was Capegate Mediclinic's first micro prem baby. So I'm going to have a cake and tea when she turns 1 year old (D.V.) to thank all the staff and drs who helped her. I have sent letters out to my gynae, his assistant at Vica's birth, the paeds (they all worked on her during their shifts whilst she was in NICU). So I can give a character reference on all the paeds at Capegate

I hope the drs make an effort to come. Not quite sure how they'll take to a "cake and tea" invitation. But it is the least I can do to say thank you to them all.
Vica loves to scream high pitched....

my ears hurt at times! THen her brother thinks its funny to copy her....
My kids differ 18 months and I think that is too close! Don't know how you do it with smaller gaps!
I'm loving my kids however. In a way its sad as I know we'll only have the two of them. No more. Its sad that I never had a full "last" pregnancy. So only once in my life was I the size of a balloon waddling around with a baby in my belly ha ha
I can see myself getting broody already once Vica is no longer a baby. I love babies. I bitch and moan a lot when I'm sleep deprived and when I don't have time to poop because they keep me so busy....but I love my kids.
Oh yes! I wanted to only bf Vica up to 1 year and then put her on the bottle. When I go to Moms and Tots with Dieter once per week I leave Vica with my mom and a bottle of formula. She'd always at least have half and I was happy with that. But since switching to the 6-12 month tin she's like WTF, you want me to drink THAT?!

So I spoke to my clinic sister and she said to then give her from the 0-6 month tin as its only once per week and its just the whey protein that's more in the nr1 one. So we'll give that a try next week.
Vica is on laxette because she is constipated. Apparently it is a prem baby thing because their intestines had to start working when they were actually not really ready to start working.... At least she goes once per day but you can see its not the way it should be

sorry But ja, at least she goes now. Even when she was just being breastfed, she'll go once every 3 weeks. Yes, you read right, three weeks! So I started giving her those "teething" powders Aston something. They're actually for tummy upsets during teething phases.... so misleading, but that made her poop once per week. But now since solids, its laxette.
Anyway, enough ramblings. TAke care everyone. ENjoy your babies. Soon we'll post crawling and walking pics.........
