That's a relieve about the tender Maureen! (But I'm holding thumbs for you that you get something better!) Are you only working on contract for them?

Today is one of those days that I wish I was a man!! Do you girls also sometimes struggle in the workplace because you are female!!??

Chubby don't feel poor. There are a lot of people worse off. At least you are working for a company that looks after your interest. And money can't buy everything, or so I am told. And sometimes more money brings more stress and other factors.

Ladies good news, we were awarded a new tender this morning. It is work for two more years, which means that I will still have a job to come back to after maternity leave. Except if I find something better before that time.

Back after being MIA. Been reading the posts, was just not able to reply.

Jeez you ladies are all in the 'baby is viable' zone already. I will be 19 weeks on Monday. Halfway, seeing as I am going for a c-sec on 38 weeks. Hopefully will find the sex out on Tuesday.

Everybody is buying houses? Are you millionaires or what? I can't afford to buy a house, maybe I am working for the wrong place??? I am renting from the company I work for. Very confenient 3-bedroom house with a livingroom, diningroom, big kitchen, scullery, full bathroom, seperate toilet and a garage. For the rent, electricity and water I pay R1000 a month. But I can't afford the thousands of rands a own home would cost me. Maybe it is the thing of smaller salaries in towns than in cities? I feel very poor now

The get together was lovely. I just realised one never notices how big your LO is getting till you meet 'new' children of the same age and yours is a head length bigger than all of them. My LO is currently 81cm and she is not even 16 months old. Blame it on the tall dad. As for injections, luckily she only has to go in December again.

Vision, they have memories like elephants. When I got at school yesterday afternoon, Janu was crying, when I asked the ladies why, they said they are not sure. With that the ownerof the school, who is also the clinic sister who gave Janu his injections the previous day, walked up to me, and said as soon as she walked into the class, and he spotted her, he started crying! Shame, she felt so bad, and took him and hugged him.

Ai Maureen, hope you feel better soon. I am sending you a PM. What about this Saturday ladies, or maybe we can keep it on the 15th, just earlier?

I started with the house yesterday, sorted out some toys etc. Private Property is coming this afternoon to take some photos for the website, so the house wasn't this neat in a long time : .
Baby is BUSY!! Woke me up this morning just before 4 with all the movement! Tummy is really growing now and so hard!

What a funny/busy week! I so really don't want to be at work at this point. I feel I could climb into bed and not get out for a while. Just not motivated at all.

Pretoria ladies, I won't be able to make it on the 22nd, as I have a family reunion I have to go to. If you are willing to make it the 29th, then I don't have a problem?

Shoe Ashleigh - you have been busy! Please send it my way as well! I must start sorting out the boys' toys as well, I told Ewan to start about 3 weeks ago, and told him we must take the things that he's not playing with , and give them to the children who hasn't toys - with the concept he has no problem, but everytime he starts sorting, he starts playing and get distracted . So I will have to go and sit one afternoon and do it with him!

Cakes, don't worry, we understand that you have loads to do. We miss you though, so hopefully after the wedding you will make up for it with lots of wedding pics .

Thanks Vision, we took some family photos a while back, and I finally managed to pick up the DVD's with the images last week. Now I must go and develop my favourates to make some nice frames for our new house. It's such sad news about your friend - how far along was she?

Shame, when I took Janu to the clinic yesterday, and the sister took him to weigh etc(even before the injections) he started crying. After hospital he's terrified of the nurses! Luckily he stopped very quick after the injections, but he kept following the nurse where ever she moved - he doesn't trust her out of his sight!

I just ordered some baby items from Amazon, I'm a bit sceptical , but will let you know if/when it gets delivered.
