Hi ladies
Wow, I can't believe some of you are going to have your babies this week!!!
As for me, last week was quite hectic. I worked all of last weekend from about 9am - 7pm on both Saturday and Sunday because I had a deal Investment paper that had to be done by Monday morning. That was an absolutely awful experience. I missed my hubby & daughter SOOOO much! I think I used to take the time I have with them on weekends for granted.
Then during the week, my energy levels just kept getting lower and lower. I eventually left work early on Thursday afternoon cos I just couldn't do it anymore. I had an appointment with my midwife on Friday morning and when she took my blood pressure, she was NOT impressed at all

She took it like 3 times and even thought the machine wasn't working properly cos my blood pressure was so low. She put me back on my preggy vitamins (i had stopped taking them after my last pack ran out...Ooops!) and she put me on something called Nat Mur from Natura. It helps with water absorption and fatigue etc. She also told me to drink a lot of orange juice or eat oranges cos that also helps. She says that's why I was feeling exhausted like all the time!!! And she says I need to slow down at work as well.
Anyway, so feeling quite a lot better now. I am now 35weeks &1 day.
@belaine: I feel like a 1st timer all over again. I haven't even started packing my hospital bag. I bought breast pads and disposable panties last week at Dischem. Also, last time i bought so much! and I hardly used anything at the hospital. i didn't use my own linen covers, maternity pads etc. the hospital supplied all of that while i was there and I never bled heavily post baby so I actually still have maternity pads from April 2010 when my LG was born!!! So this time, I just don't want to take too much stuff to hospital. But as a 1st timer, i know you always would rather have everything just incase.
Has anyone bought the Carriwell feeding bra's? The ones that clip open? Shoo! My hubby bought me two with my last LG. When I wanted to buy 2more last week, I realised they are like R270 each!!! Is it just me who finds that quite expensive??? But I really liked them so will just have to fork it out...or hope hubby buys me two more.
I am having a baby shower on the 8th September. My sister in law is organising it. I think I will finish off my baby shopping afterwards. Its like I have a mental block and dont know what to buy. Its so weird! I've decided to buy Baby City vouchers in the meantime with the money hubby keeps giving me for baby stuff. Then will use the vouchers after the baby shower to buy the rest of the baby stuff.I think i need to feel the pressure. I am waaaay too relaxed!
