Hi There

I'm officially 32 weeks today, just have 6 more weeks for my C-Sec.

I also have 1 month left at work. I can't wait.

hi ladies

I have 1 month left at work (same as BettsF) and then 2 weeks of rest (hopefully!!! )
I'm struggling with my hips - esp sleeping, have to turn over every 30mins

My mom asked if I wanted another baby shower, but I suggested we all just go somewhere nice for
tea & cake rather than trying to organise another 'event' at our house and catering etc
(also not expecting much but would be a nice break)

Mad prepping for D's party on Sun - of course, it's meant to rain, so there goes the park and trampoline...
will just play Pass the parcel, Musical chairs, Simon Says
(am making a fruit punch for everyone and can have tea & coffee - will tell people to bring wine if they want)
Will have to ask my SIL about a movie for the kids (she has the 8 year olds, so loads of experience!)
will be difficult with such an age difference (2 up to 8)

Thankfully D is still sleeping in her big bed (she asked to sleep in her cot last night, but
ended up in her new bed anyway)
Was so cute yesterday - she came thu to our room yesterday morning (I was still in bed
as I went it to work abit later and DH was getting dressed), climbed into my bed with me
and said "Wee wee". So I asked if she wanted to go potty and she said yes - had a lekker
big wee in the potty!! (proud mama )

Have promised myself that after D's party, I will get my ass in gear and sort out everything for McK
so I can see what I still need

Can't believe how close some of us are - the time has flown!
I still have 6wks left

just a quick pop in to let you know if you in jhb and are planning to go to the Baba Indaba this weekend at Nasrec, the groupon website has a great deal on - 2 tickets for R49 (tickets are R50 each) R96 for 4 tickets and I think there is a deal for 6 tickets as well.

MonicaR the mild pains have stopped thanks, just feels like baby
is lying really low now.Dont know what that means bcoz I still have
about 26days to go.

Hey JB glad all is going at work.Hope and pray that they call you back
next year for permanent employment.Do let us know how the 4D scan
goes today.

As for me baby is feeling big and I am more and more tired. I have started
to suffer from insomnia now and my body feels really sore after a couple of
hours of sleep. Seeing Dr for the last tym on the 10th @ 37weeks, which will
b a week before my c-sec. I really cant wait till next week Friday(lasy day @ work)

Oh forgot to say,I had a surprise babyshower on saturday from my hubbys
ex collegues.It was such a nice surprise as I totally didnt expect it.

Sorry for being MIA. I almost never get time on the PC except for a few quick minutes.

Belaine enjoy your last couple weeks and get lots done but get lots of rest and daytime naps etc too! Is your bag packed?

Monica sorry about the flu - it sounds much like what everyone's getting, same as what put K in hospital with pneumonia, and 3 weeks later I am still struggling with a blocked nose and phlegm on the chest! Taking iliadin and using a saline rinse to try keep it all out. Also got Solphylin from doc to use when its really bad!
Good luck with your last 2 weeks at work! Hopefully you can hand most of it over and spend the time with filing and arb things that you're not too tired!

Robyn I didnt organise any 'games' as such for Kaylee. Is it at your house?
We just asked some of our friends to bring their kid's toys, and we brought her plastic rocker for outside and the kids mostly kept themselves busy.
She's only 2, so I dont see the need for things like facepainting etc. That's different when the birthday girl will actually appreciate it. Just my personal opinion.
We just provided juice and tea & coffee, altho it was a morning tea event. I would say if youre ok with ppl drinking wine, they must bring their own surely?

We managed to keep ours under 1K, and family helped with more than half of it so we were blessed!

I have had the occasional lower back cramps and ovary like pains, but not anything labour like - it would be constant for 10 - 20 mins at a time. Think its all the stretching. I seem to have SPD? too? But it's thankfully still bearable for now!
I have my 4D scan at hospital tomorrow at 12:15. Really looking forward to seeing how baby is lying and what she weighs / estimated birth weight.
See my gynae again in 3 weeks time (33 week) and again 36 weeks if all is good. Then we'll play it by ear.

Work is quite busy but enjoyably so. They seem very happy with me which is a huge blessing. I am trusting God to show me whether this will be my new permanent work, and to fine tune things that it suits with Kaylee's possible surgeries next year etc. They gave me my first 'stock optimization' to give a go at today - quite daunting as its the real test of my competence - and now I wait till the morning to hear how it went and hopefully I didnt get too far off the actual outcome (it's already been ordered by my colleague so they will compare the two).
Still getting used to getting home past 6pm but guess I must get used to it.
I will be there until end of September, last working day 28th - and Rei is due a month later on 28th October.

We bought a 2nd hand Mamas and Papas pram on Sunday from my one school friend's sister. It's the UK version of Peg which they bought when they stayed overseas. We only paid R800 for the pram, car seat, base and basinett! Very stoked!
Cos now we can sell ours and use the difference to try get a private room while in hospital!

Another relaxing day!! im so lazy just want to sleep the whole day but i try to do something each day.. yesterday was washing today i tackled the cupboards, tomorrow i need to renew the car license and get the last things for the hosp bags and finish packing them.

my c sec is book for the 29 aug!!

getting very uncomfy at times and also my back is a really hurting at times.

Hi ladies!

So envious of all of you that are off in two weeks time, im still here till at least the 21st. My back is killing me today and my feet have started swelling, i cant even get my wedding ring on anymore. Had a gynae ap on Monday and baba is weighing on average 1.8-2kgs. Bp and everything else was fine too.

I see him again within a month. still havent gotten a few last items, i should get on that soon, before i get too big and clumsy to do anything.
