Congrats Belanie as well,looks like you are having a big baby.

Emom all the best on your VBAC,I also have a friend who tried
the VBAC @ Genesis and it worked. My gynae is also not keen
on natural birth at all. Think most gynaes are not.

JB wanted to say I found my hooded towels very useful,my 7year
old still uses hers and little ones uses hers.Nappies I used huggies
and there were no problems up until now.I am experiencing the
absorbtion problem.It was all the freebies i got from huggies that
swayed me towards huggies.

Robyn you are so lucky for the 9months maternity leave.We only
get 4months.By the way Vanessa from Tums2mums still operates
she has just changed her name to uif partners.I also used her last
tym and she was super good.

Be,anie when is your stock tea, you are so lucky to have your mil
plan a stork tea for you.

AFM I am almost 23weeks,my appointment is on the 15th of June.
Baby has been kicking since 14weeks(bubble feeling) and now he is
kicking a storm,big sis and daddy have felt him.
I havent told my boss yet but will have to do so next week,thinking
of working till the 7th of September and then book my c-sect for the 18th.

Betss congrats on team blue again thanks for the info, how many weeks are you now? not sure if i missed it? I have 2 friends also having there 2nd boy and one who is having a boy now after having a girl i guess she is luckily, but like you said God has everything planned out.

At 1st i really had boy vibes and dreamt it was a lb and then i had a dream about the most beautiful lg and how i showed her to my dad (which is 8 years in heaven now) and ever since then i had a feeling it might be a girl but wasnt too sure. And after the blighted ovum last year we really didnt mind at all!

Monica almost sounds like mine waiting a long time and then its if they make up for it its wonderful when your stomach moves esp so that the other family can see (my bil sat sunday until he saw it!!

Its official my mil wil be organising my storktea my mom cant come but then she is coming for the birth!!

Heres a lil about myself, I live in Botswana. im a CA, married for 5 years now and i have a lil boy called seth who is 3.

Elams mom, wont help much, coz they had their vbacs here. Very excited about this pregnancy, My lil boy needs a companion.

I would love one of those heating panels, i wil check at click if they have them. Looks like we have a wide array of EDDs here hey. Belaine, lovely that you have decided on a name already, pretty one at that. we are still trying to decide.

I've been feeling M moving for a while now, but this week she is really kicking up a storm
I even saw my stomach move last night!!

Elamsmom - I saw an ad on tv last night that Clicks is having a special on wall panel heaters (I think
it was Sunbeam) - they are R299 each but if you have a Clikcs card, you get 3 for the price of 2 (save
R300 so they work out to R200 each) I think the special ends 3 June
(we have one in each of our rooms and the lounge and will def get some more for our other house)

@BettsF, thanks for the encouragement. Knowing that other people have had successful vbac's is really encouraging.

I don't think that changing gynaes will be an issue because my main care provider from now on will be the midwife and I will only see a gynae once at 36 weeks to give(together with the midwife) a final go ahead(or not) on the vbac. then that gynae will be on standby for the vbac incase it ends up in a caesar. so, i wont really need a gyane much at all.if all goes well, it will literally just be the 36 week scan that i will see him.

@BettsF: if you had a natural birth and yet gynae not keen on going natural again, imagine what an uphill battle us vbac moms have! Where did your SIL's have their vbacs?

I'm not sure if I saw in your into post so i'll just ask again. Where do u live? how old is your 1st little one?

Belaine: Great news, and congratulations on Team pink. Marine is such a lovely name.
Glad that all is well.

I think my scan is next. Friday this week at 11h00. I can't wait.

Team Pink it is!! Marine (Ma-ri-nay) EDD 07/09/2012 weighs 845g 25w4d!! everything is perfect and the bloods dont show any abnormalities. We were lucky went in earlier. At 1st didnt want to open the legs. her bum is in the air the dr said this one must be really kicking you!!
We went for a pink milkshake afterwards!!!!
