I also have not done baby shopping, and we need to get started.

Oh yes, in terms of maternity, I only get three months, fully paid. So it would be oct to dec, returning to work in january

Happy belated birthday to all the mommies! Have had a week from hell, its been so busy at work and now I'm down with the flu again! Its going to be a long winter! I'm 23 weeks on sunday and just don't feel baby is as active as he should be, I feel random kicks every now and thenn but hardly all day. My next appoitment is only on the 19 thh, so ill ask my gynae then. Also the kicks are very low down in my tummy alnost in my crotch area, do yours feel that way? Gynae had mentioned I had low lying placenta in last ap, could that be why? Well I'm not doing very well with baby shopping, nor have we decided on a name for lo yet, we really must get our butts in gear. Finding boys names are very hard.

I have been so inundated with work - its been crazy busy!!

Robyn - we share the same birthdays. - GEMINIS rule! Happy birthday!!
We did not do anything for mine - just ordered some ocean basket take outs and ate it at home. My LG is a bit sick and I did not want to take her out inthe cold. I have the family coming for lunch/supper on saturday though - so at least I will celebrate in some way and in the comfort of my own home.

I spoke to my boss about maternity leave and pay and he is paying me full salary for the 4 months i am off. I also offered to do some work from home - so I will be taking my computer home with me and have to get and ADSL line installed at home - which he will pay for - for while I am off. going off for 4 months sep - dec - back in Jan!!
I am very relieved that im getting paid - did not know what we would have done if i wasnt getting paid.

At least I see there is some Team blue on the forum and not just team pink. well done!!

My baby has been moving all the time.... sometimes she gives me quite a kick!! oh dear - trouble already!!

Sorry its a short post and could not get to do personals. Hope everyone is well and keeping warm - especially this weekend coming - cold is hitting us now!!

Hi Ladies
I posted yesterday afternoon but noticed this morning that it disappeared, so here it is:

It was my birthday (on Tues) so MIL offerred to keep D for the night and we went out
for dinner with my family and then DH &I went to watch MIB3 and then we are going out
for supper with DH's family on Fri
It was so sweet, D said Happy Birthday to me yesterday morning and I recorded it on my
phone - too sweet


McK is so busy - playing a soccer match in my tummy constantly
OMW!! Last night when we got home, we tried to 'celebrate' in another way ( )
but as we got started, McK went from the middle of my tummy to the top right side
so quickly and so hectically it was actually sore and quite uncomforable - looked very
odd with a huge bump on the side of my tummy
I felt abit embarrassed as I couldn't carry on - DH was very sweet about it but it took
another 30mins before she went back to normal position
She obviously did not like what was happening to mommy...
