Congrat's Anthea... She looks so excited about school...

Morgan looks very precious.. Yes, perserverance is def needed for cracked nipples. Mine are fine now as well. My paed suggested using normal cooking olive oil as well. Says you don't need to wipe it off either....

Trying to upload a pic of my boy in chilling on the couch with me but it doesn't seem to be working

Hi there Ladies

Congrats to all the new arrivals!!!

All the pics of the little ones are simply gorgeous!!

WOW Sma - that is one healthy baby! I am so happy that you got the VBAC you wanted!!!! You are an inspiration to all those VBAC hopefuls! ((((HUG))))

Snoekie - whats the latest???

AFM - i am LOVING little Morgan!  Went for her newborn shoot on Saturday - cant wait for the pics - it takes 3 weeks though.... Still havent received our maternity pics... Cos of the break in between Christmas and New Year...

But her pics are so worth the wait!

We are breastfeeding well - also didnt have time to prep nipples but the Lansinoh cream worked wonders!! I cracked and bled just a little for a day or two and now we're sorted! She latches beautifully! And feeds every 3 - 3and a half hours during the day, and at night every 4 - 4 and a half hours. So i get good rest at night - which is awesome! You just gotta perservere through the cracked nipples - and air dry them if possible... Also put some breat milk on after and let it dry... But seriously the Lansinoh is the best cream out there!!!!

On another note - my oldest started school this year!! What an exciting adventure for her... she loved the first few days but this morning was a bit teary!! My heart breaks for her when she cries like that... But what can i do????

Attached is also a pic of little Morgan - she "scraped" (for lack of better word) against my cocix when she came out - hence the red on her face, but its slowly fading! She also had low-count jaundice - but nothing that required lights... Just some sunlight and lots of feeding! Its already looking much better!!

Its quiet on here... Hope to hear from more ladies soon!!!
