Hi ladies....we are alive!!!!
Cherikey so sorry, that's the thing with family, one gets it and the rest follow, hope it clears up soon. I'm also worrying, my son had chicken pox and he's basically Tamina's 2nd mother. Can a baby get chicken pox at 4 weeks? I hope not. But my son had it very mildly, feverish one half day, a few countable spots on his legs and arms, great cos I totally love his smooth clear skin
Tamina is doing well, 5 weeks tomorrow. Had her last weighed at 13 days and was 4.3 kgs. We are struggling with breastfeeding though, hardly doing it actually, took her off for a few days after birth, nipples about to fall off...okay they were just bleeding

but ya that 2 or 3 days on the bottle made it hard to have her feed right on the breast again, she gets soooo irritated I just end up giving her bottle and she feeds peacefully. I got irritated and gave more bottle than milk, then when I calmed down

my supply had dwindled....struggling to get it up again, gosh, so ya, she's more a bottle baby now, I'm drinking soo much water and tea and eating enough but ya, guess the bottle is also making me lazy... Any suggestions apart from the obvious keep trying

... I'm just at that place right now where I'm honestly enjoying the convenience of a bottle..we are forever on the street....but feeling bad that I'm not exclusively breastfeeding, I'm a mother, I should only breastfeed...aaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!
Latest picture of Tamina below, just took it with my phone... Took some family pics, photoshoot right at home ahahhaa my husband's a photographer, so this one Sunday morning we were already running late for church and he decides to do a photo shoot hahahahhhaa, will try posting them as soon as I can make them smaller....
