AFM Lea Mari was born on the 3de of Jan at 1:30 pm weight 3.79kg. She is so beautifull!!

Hey new mommies and ladies in waiting hahahahaaha

I'm still a lady in waiting, 39 weeks today. My appointment went well, good news my cervix is actually getting better, the scar tissue is kinda gone, asked midwife to check me and she was able to stretch me to a 2 cm, so at least something is happening. So I gotta get serious with my walking, but we both really don't think the 11th will come.

Anthea wow can't believe you're no longer last in line, tsjo things change here hahaahaha. Sorry about the infection, hope everything will go well.

LOL Snoekie, at least I'm not the only one with mother in law stresses.

I guess I'm just a 40 weeks birther ... Cos I also went into labour naturally with my son exactly at 40 weeks, totally quiet before that. Thought it would be different this time, but ya, here I am starting the 40th week. So ya, really makes me wonder about the incompetent cervix, but hey that's in the past now, can't wait to meet my girl!!

I think babylove was also due on the 3rd with Nadia? Wonder how they are doing...

Good Morning Ladies,
sorry I have been MIA. Been Consentrationg sooo hard to relax and not allow my mother in law to stress me into premature labour. They were here for three weeks over Christmas and New Years. They went back home yesterday, and will be back for the birth.

Congrats on the birth of Emily!! Such a big girl. Think our little baba will weigh about the same at birth.
Would love to see some photo's when you get a chance.

Good luck with that infection!! Hope you get to meet your little one real soon! Get lots of rest and stay off those swollen feet. Mine aren't far behind yours. My feet are so sore from all the swelling. That is also my only complaint.

I know how you feel with the knocking on the cervix.
Also really exhausted at the moment. finding it difficult to sleap. only slept 3 hours last night.

AFM,
I went to the doc again yesterday...
Baba's growth has slowed down, wich is good as he/she is already weighing 3.4kg at 38 weeks. Other than that doc says baba is still very hapy inside end it doesn't look like I will be delivering early as baba is still very high.
Our Preggy shoot was a lot of fun. We will probably only be getting the pics after baba is here. If the pics do come early I'll post them.

To all the ladies that have there bundles of joy, Hold them real tight and cuddle them. And good luck with the feeding and late nights.
To all the ladies still waiting with me... Good luck, hang in there and the end is in sight.

@Tazzy - i too breastfed on demand with my LG - up until she was 2 months old and i had a good established supply... then we went to every 2 hours and by 3months we were on evey 3 hours... it was also around this time that she started sleeping through. We never progressed to 4-hourly feed cos breastmilk is thinner than formula and is digested alot quicker... When i went back to work at 4 months i carried on expressing whenever it would be her feeding time... we managed to breastfeed until she was 9months old when she self-weaned...

Hoping for the same luck this time around...

All the best though with everyone else's breastfeeding - you have to find the one that works for you...

Anthea - Yay... 1 week to go, you must be so happy! Im sorry to hear about the bladder infection though, you must take it easy now this last week!

Juwayraj it sounds like your friend is following the Gina Ford book, a breast feeding consultant told us to rather feed on demand which follows the baby sense book - who knows what is right? I was hoping you 2nd time moms could help me out I think its a case of what works best for you and your baby

We had our 36.4 week scan yesterday, our little man is weighing 3.2kgs already. Everything is good with me except for the backache during the night and very little sleep because of it so I cant really complain. C section is booked for the 18th Jan so exactly 2 weeks today I cannot wait but by the sounds of it I should enjoy my sleep and afternoon naps and time with hubby!

Hi Ladies

Happy new year!!! Sorry I'm a bit late but being a second mommy is taking it's toll on me didn't expect it was going to be so hard if Alizah doesn't want to feed big brother Caden wants to paint, and it feels like he is more demanding then before.

Congrats!!!!! : Juwayraj, with Jody. I wish I could have only breastfeed Alizah but I only get 10 ml every 2 hours and she gets grumpy if I put her on the breast, but I will try and try and try.

Congrats!!!! : Cherikey He is beautiful and it looks like he will be a good kisser with those lips. How is the second mommy going with you.

Congrats!!!! : Tracyo with Emily she was big how did you manage!!!

For the other ladies I hope all the scans go well and that all the pains feels better and that your time comes sooner then the expected dates.

AFM. Tired and so great full for our new edition to the family. Still strugeling to feed but will get there.
