My name is Nicolle and I am 22 years old and expecting my first baby! My estimated due date is the 06th May 2013 and the Dr said he is is 90% sure it's a little girl.

I would love to be able to go through this with ladies that are also expecting their child around the same time, I went through the conversation history and it looks like you ladies talk about some interesting experiences

I have just come out of hospital due to a kidney infection which had me and the Doctors quite worried but all is okay now and I just went for a follow up with the gynie and had a scan yesterday!

It was also with a new Dr as I was told by my last Gynie that she wont be delivering babies anymore (Including mine), I then found my new Gynie named Dr A. Strang at hillcrest hospital and lucky he is amazing Pheww!

My Dr charges for only two scans 12 weeks and 20 weeks, even though he does as scan every appointment.

His consultation fees are R680 and then he charged R1200 for the 12 week scan and the 20 week scan.

there have been a few more charges which I cant think of now, one or two appointments have been about R880
