Hi Ladies,

Ughh - my weekend was anything BUT relaxing!!

Turns out our 'not so active' teambuild was EXTREMLY active! instead of the 'solve the clue' kind of amazing race, we had more of the 'rush around and do stuff' kind of race.

We stared out with go-carts at Kyalami race track (I wasn't allowed to go), followed by ten-pin bowling at monte casino. Then paintball (I had to stay behind the fence the whole time, protecting my tummy), then golf (which my team missed - LONG story) walking through a maze and lastly canoe/paddling in the river (COLD!!!).

I tried to do as little as possible (had to tell the event organiser and project admin that I'm pregnant), and not run around like the rest - but I was still exhausted by lunch time! Luckily we got to chill the afternoon! (usually they plan stuff for the whole day).

And then I got home on Saturday morning to a VERY clingy 3 year old who missed his mommy SO much - so no rest.

I bought my Dad his birthday present (well, ONE of them) - couldn't find anything I liked in the shop, so I had to whip out my paint and modify it myself...

The morning sickness seems to be getting a bit worse - was reduced to toast for breakfast the last two days.
My boobs are also quite sensitive (but has been from the start), also noticing a slight increase in 'bathroom breaks'.

Having been through it once before - I have NO problem what so ever if the nausea stays away completely!!

Morning Everyone. I hope you all had a good weekend. I had a relaxing weekend and didn't really do much.

I still don't have morning sickness, but my boobs are still bugging me a bit and I am running to the loo constantly! I've also started with constipation which I am not thrilled about!

I've also been having a feeling of indigestion. Like my food doesn't want to go down properly and is sitting just below my ribs. It's a little irritating.

I'm feeling really positive though and looking forward to the next few month. I really wish my appointment with the Gynea was sooner than the end of the month though.

Hi there TBS, I am really sorry you are not sleeping well and that you had a bad night last night. Don't worry we all go through moment where the fear just takes over. I am also struggling to sleep and wake up in the middle of the night and my head is filled crappy thoughts.
I also hope that for you the nausea will start ( probably at about 6 or 7 weeks ) I know it sounds weird but to be honest even though I feel Yuck I would not change it for anything. When do you go for your first scan? That also really helped me and DH. Big hug to hun!!!!!!!

I had a bit of a moment this morning!

I haven't been sleeping well for a while now. I'm pretty much awake from about 4am most mornings, and when I do drift back to sleep it is full of very weird dreams! So I decided I wanted to do another HPT so I did it when I got up to pee at 4am. I just wanted to see a bolder second line than I did when I tested last week. In the bad light, and early morning fog of my brain, it looked fainter than last week. So I climbed back into bed and cried, which woke DH up. He snuggled me and told me he loved me no matter what and he drifted back to sleep. I lay there tossing and turning and my mind just wandered.

When I got up this morning in the light it was clear that the line was bolder than last week. So clearly I just let the "darkest hours before dawn" get to me! Somehow I'm able to stay strong and positive during the day, but in those wee hours I just struggle!

I really wish I could get nauseous so that at least my body would be telling me clearly! I know a lot of you are feeling yuck, but I just want a bit more confirmation! My mom said that with me, she didn't have any morning sickness at all so for her the pregnancy wasn't really real until her clothes didn't fit right.

AFM: nie veel nuus nie net moeg en naar maar dis darem so dat ek dit kan handel. Is vandag presies 7 weke so ons betree nou weer nuwe goed wat onstwikle so dis lekker

Bsquared- im sorry to hear abour your 2 mc's. I understand how at the back of your mind you worry, but im proud of you for having such a positive attitude! I've also had 2 mc before this one and one has to get up and carry on!
Hopeful is so right in her advice. As my husband said to me after our first mc, it wasn't our baby, our baby is still waiting in heaven to be given to us.
I would also suggest you get added progesterone asap. I am also on it, doc said to take it till 9 weeks when the placenta takes over the prog production. But once again, your Doc will know what is best for you.

Die bloed toetse wat ek op 10 weke moet doen dink ek het te doen met die 12 weke scan, ek dink dis al die komolikasies waarvoor hul toets, want toe ek bel na die fetal assesment centre om my 12 wk afspraak te maak het hulle ook vir my gese ek moet vir bloods gaan op 10 weke. Ek kry die vorms by maandag se 9wk sonar so sal dan meer info kan gee.
Dis darem so lekker dat jou pa so betrokke kan wees by jou baba! Ek kan verstaan dat jy nie wil skuuf na n ander dr aangesienjy jou huis dr seker al so goed ken!

Jeanine - ooh jite my naarheid het ook presies so begin, laat middae hier rondom 5h of 6h, so asof ek net nie lekker gevoel het nie maar nog nie duidelik naar was nie, ook nie elke dag nie! Maar op 7 weke het dit duidelik naar begin, maar vandat ek Asic en vit b6 drink is ek weer honky dory (dont jinx it now... )
