MakatK - we only get 4 months and only 1 month paid. so will be claiming from UIF which is not much.

Jay, Wina, Makatk - hope that pain goes away, shame do not sound nice.

I just wish this week passes quick. really not in the mood for work but have so much.

Craving fruit all the time, but nice summer fruit, cant wait for litchis!!!!!

Makatk i think i should work for your company. We get 4 months 30% of your salary, which would only cover my car and insurance. I will only take 3 months, cause i want to leave this company. The rule is if you decide to resign after being on maternity leave, you have to pay back the monthe they paid you while on maternity leave. If i should get a job before the end of the 3 months its fine, cause it would be just 1 month that i would be broke, but i don't see my self staying at this company. Been here 5 years, that's too long.

How ironic I had that same feeling, was waiting on the bus and when I stood up it felt like I was completely wet and I also had strange aches, not cramps but it felt like baby was kicking me from the inside and making bumps in my tummy. I got on the bus and was thinking how am I going to find out now what is happening. but where there is a will there is a way

I haven't enjoyed eating for a couple of months and yesterday was the first time in a couple of days I didn't actually vomit so I enjoyed eating tremendously.

@Jay, I think you and I are cruising on the same boat, I also felt weird, period pain like and i kept feeling like my undies are wet. I checked myself I don't know how many times You plea is noted, we'll balance the chatting on both sites

Hi ladies
Last night, i got such a fright... I had back pain accompanied by what felt like period pains. i had to use a hot water bottle to ease the pain. Even now on my lower back i still have these pains. I kept on checking my undies the whole time. But my nunu is kicking up a storm. I hope it's nothing to worry about.

@ Wina, I also have a huge appetite but i try to eat all teh right staff, thanks to 40 days challenge, it is really working for me.

I wish it was March already so I can go on maternity leave.

How long do you ladies get for maternity leave. We get 4 and half months fully paid.

Yes Jay the whatsapp group, is great.

That sucks, a shoulder and foot massage would have done your poor feet good. I think they were just being overly cautious. Usually during the first trimester they advise not go for massages because of the oils and not the actual massage. I haven't read anything about it being off limits in the 2nd and 3rd trimester.


Maternity leave is still far off, so for your sake I hope it comes by quick. I just want to work half days. That would be good for me right now.

I've been but haven't actually vomited since Friday after work. That burger didn't digest at all. so today I have munchies. I don't want to over do it though, even though i want to eat absolutely everything.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.
